Punjab BEd Admission 2023 is conducted by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, on the basis of an entrance exam, Punjab BEd CET. The result for Punjab BEd CET 2023 has been declared on the official website. The Punjab BEd Admission is based on the joint BEd entrance exam and centralized Punjab BEd counseling.

To be eligible for Punjab BEd Admission 2023, candidates must secure 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or a master’s degree from any stream. The Punjab BEd CET 2023 will be conducted in the 4^th week of July 2023 and the results will be declared in August 2023.

The Punjab BEd seat reservation is decided as per the policies laid out by the Government of Punjab. The Round 1 Counseling for candidates who have qualified for the Punjab BEd common entrance test (CET) will be done on the basis of the entrance exam scores in September 2023 to offer admission to Top BEd Colleges in Punjab.

The steps to fill out the Punjab BEd application form 2023 are:

• Online Registration: The candidate can fill out the basic details such as Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Father’s Name, Gender, DOB, etc after clicking on the “online registration” link. They can verify their mobile number and email address via OTP.
• Candidate Login: Candidates shall log in to the dashboard by clicking on “candidate login” and entering their email ID and password. They can then use the links under the dashboard to fill out the application form and pay the application fee via online mode (UPI/net banking/credit or debit card) or offline mode through bank challan at any branch of HDFC bank.
• Upload Photo & Signature: After the application fee payment, the candidates need to upload their recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned in the brochure.
• Fill in Academic Details: The candidates are required to fill in the academic details after photo uploading. If the result for any qualifying exam is not declared, candidates are advised to enter “0” under the total marks and marks category.
• Basic Details: After academic details, candidates are required to fill in the basic details related to their candidature such as an address, permanent address, domicile, category, etc.
• Choice Filling & Application Fee Payment: The candidates can choose either of the three options: Regular BEd program, Special BEd program, or both. Depending upon the choice, the candidates will be prompted to pay the application fee via online or offline mode. They will then be directed to take print out the application form with a unique application ID.
• Print Application Form: In case the candidate forgets to take a print of the application form, they can go to the "Print Application Form" link available under the "Candidate Dashboard" area.

Punjab BEd Admission 2023: Merit List

Post filling out the application form, the merit list will be issued by the college authority on a particular date. Check out the criteria, based on which the merit list is issued by the Punjab colleges for the BEd courses.

• The marks candidates gain in the qualifying degree examination.
• If the college conducts any entrance exam, candidates’ marks obtained there will also be taken into consideration.
• Candidates having the same position for the BEd course in the merit list will be finally judged by seeing their percentage of marks in the qualifying exam and with the rule of older ones getting the preference.
