BSc Electronics: What is it about?

BSc Electronics Admission Process

Students get admission for the B.Sc electronics course on the basis of their merit. Most of the colleges release a cut off percentage for the admission process.

  • Students who clear the cut off 10+2 percentage set by the college are granted admission to the course.
  • However, some colleges prefer to give admission based on entrance exams.
  • They will be allowed to appear for the exam only if they have the cut off percentage in their 10+2 examination also.
  • Entrance exams have objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.

See: BSc Admission 2023

The candidates need to follow the following steps in order to get admission to the course:

Step 1 - Apply for admission

  • Students must apply for admission to the respective colleges where they wish to get admission. The notification for the application is generally released in the month of April-May.

How to prepare for B.Sc Electronics Entrance Exams?

Students must have a clear idea about the syllabus and the pattern of the exam. The general syllabus includes:

  • Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics
  • General Knowledge (GK) and Current Affairs

Students can prepare well for these exams if they follow a timetable and give at least 2-3 hours a day for the preparation.

  • Before the exam try to solve as many mock tests and previous year papers as you can. This will help boost the confidence level before the exam.
  • The candidates appearing for these entrance exams must have a strong hold in Physics and Mathematics because most of the difficult questions are asked from these two subjects only.
  • The students need to read the newspaper regularly to improve their current affairs knowledge so that they can score well in this section.
  • Some exams have negative markings, so students must be careful while attending the questions. They must attend only those questions which they are sure about.
  • Since the exams are time-based, the more the students will practice giving mock tests based on time, the faster they will get before the exam.

How to Get Admission in a Good BSc Electronics College?

  • Since most of the top BSc colleges have a requirement based on the marks, so the students must focus and prepare well for the exam so that they are able to score good marks and clear the required cut-off.
  • Students will need to qualify in the entrance exam as well. It is advised that a student should try to attempt at least 80% of the questions in the exam to score better.
  • Students must keep track of all the important dates of the entrance exams, counselling, and other admission related dates so that they don’t miss any opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The examination system is based on the semester system. Students have to clear every semester. There are a lot of chances of being back in the semester. faculty: teacher ratio is 1:4. The paper level is not difficult but complicated. Paper comes in a proper way.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees for Bachelor of Science subject are too high. Most expensive college in the whole of western Rajasthan. No scholarship is given to meritorious and backward students. The fee payment system is wrong. Network creates problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was looking for a technology course. And also I can choose various other computer-based subjects as pg. And also nowadays the field and opportunities in electronics are very high. in the first year, we have 32 students, and a working day is divided into 5 periods. 6 subjects and 8 facilities in the first year. The faculty's highly qualified Ph.D. graduates. The first sem is easy when compared to others but when we take this subject seriously we will understand everything. The difficulty depends upon your likes and dislikes in the subject. The faculties always try their best to make us better.

Campus Life:

Here we have a decent library with many books in various genres including fiction, journals, educational novels, study materials, language guides, and guides for studying. And also it is a digitalized library. Here we have a Wi-Fi facility and screen reading facilities. The college has many clubs and groups that help every individual improve his skills in every area other than elementary education. They conduct various programs like an arts festivals, sports fest. And also in palliative-like things. Here we have NSS, NCC, and bhoomistra sena clubs to develop personality in individuals
