You should also attend the main industry topics delivered by experts from the industries. The quality of education and mode of delivering the topics is another important aspect. Both online and offline modes should be adopted to ensure the effectiveness of the course. The duration, of course, should also be kept in mind, which is 6 months, if you devote 10 hours per week or a maximum time of 1 year but not more than that. You should always consider fees. It should be from 2 to 3 lakhs for one year but not more than that. Pros of BAI course at IIMB - You will get to learn from the same faculty who teach in the degree programs. You will have the chance to network with professionals from diverse backgrounds like mechanical engineers, sales professionals, data scientists, and research associates. The skillset you obtain in the BAI course will prepare you for managerial roles that require a deep understanding of analytics, both technically and strategically. The entry criteria are strict and this ensures a quality peer group. Cons of BAI course at IIMB - You will not have the opportunity of campus placements. You must seek out opportunities on your own. The course fee is not cheap. The total fee is around Rs 8 lakhs for an 8-month course which essentially takes place on weekends only. As it is a certificate, not a degree, you may not get treated the same by employers. So, the course is definitely good. However, doing it just for the brand name won't help.
