CGPET 2022 Counselling Registration (Started): Dates, Seat Allotment, Admissions

CGPET 2022 Counselling Registration has started on the official website- cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in. Candidates can register for CG PET 2022 Counselling till September 28, 2022. Seat Allotment Result for Round 2 will be declared on October 1, 2022. During CG PET 2022 Counselling, candidates will be required to register, fill their choices, pay fees and verify documents in online mode. 

• CG PET 2022 Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. 
• A rank-wise merit list is also put up on the website by the examination authority.
• This list contains the names of students that have qualified for CGPET 2022 Counselling rounds.

CGPET 2022 Counselling

CGPET 2022 Counselling will be started by DTE Chattisgarh. Aspirants must attend the counselling rounds according to this schedule, in order of merit. It is conducted via 3 rounds. CGPET 2022 Counselling consists of 6 steps. They are mentioned below:

Step 1: Online Registration

Aspirants who will qualify CGPET 2022 is eligible for counselling. Candidates will have to first register themselves online by filling out the application form. Only those individuals who are domicile of Chhattisgarh will be able to register online.

Step 2: Filling of Options

Students must log in to their registered accounts to select the number of colleges and courses of their choice. Candidates can fill in any number of choices.

Step 3: Preferences and Modifications

The number of colleges and courses filled in the Online Registration Form can be modified. Students must take a printout of the registration form for future reference. They will have to furnish the application form during document verification.

Step 4: Document Verification

Applicants will have to show the original along with a set of photocopies of documents at various document verification centres. These documents and certificates will be examined to verify the identity of the candidate.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

Students will be allotted seats as per their ranks and preferences of course. They will have to pay the requisite CGPET 2022 counselling fee through challan. Candidates must download the allotment letter after the seat allotment is announced.

Step 6: Reporting to the College

Students must report to the allotted college for admission formalities and payment of fees after downloading the allotment letter.

How to Check CGPET 2022 Result?

CGPET 2022 Results will be announced on the official CG Vyapam website in form of a Merit List. Aspirants can log on to the result login window to check their results and save their mark sheet cum result certificate. The governing body is not responsible to send the scorecard to any applicant by post.

CGPET 2022 result can be accessed online by following these few easy steps:

• Log on to the official website of CGPET 2022
• Search for the option of ‘Result of CGPET 2022’. Click on the link provided on the website.
• The candidates are redirected to the login page to access the result.
• Candidates are required to fill in their CGPET 2022 Roll Number.
• After filling in the details, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• The result shall appear on the screen.
• At the top left corner, the candidates will see an option to print out the result. Download the scorecard and print it out for further procedure of admission.

Details on CGPET 2022 Score Card 

CGPET 2022 Score Card contains basic information about the candidate and their result. The scorecards are valid only for the ongoing academic year and would not be valid after it. The details mentioned in the scorecard are:

• Full name of the candidate
• Mailing address
• Registration Number
• Roll Number
• Gender
• Category
• Total marks
• CGPET 2022 Rank
• Qualifying Status
• Date of exam and date of generation of the scorecard
• Candidate’s photograph and signature

Normalization of CGPET 2022 Scores

CGPET 2022 Merit List is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates. It contains names of applicants in order of ranks secured by them. However, in the case of any cancelled questions resulting in bonus marks being awarded by the governing body, the merit rank would be decided based on the score that will be normalized as follows:

Score of candidate = (Total correct answers) x (Total questions ) / (Total questions) – (cancelled questions)

For example, the total number of questions is 150 and the candidate has answered 104 correctly. 4 questions were cancelled by the authorities, the score will be calculated as:

Score of the aspirant = 104 x 150/ 150 – 4

In this case, the total score will be 15,600/146 = 106.849

CGPET 2022 Answer Key

DTE, Chhattisgarh will be releasing a model answer key in the 4^th week of June 2022. Aspirants can estimate a rough score to know if they are eligible for further rounds of admission. The final answer key is released along with the results on the official website. Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the answer key:

• Log on to the official website of CGPET
• Look for the option of ‘Answer Key’ and select the link for CGPET 2022 Answer key.
• Choose the appropriate set of answer keys.
• Download it and cross-check the answers to arrive at a rough score.

CGPET 2022 Merit List

Merit List of CGPET 2022 will be published on the official website. It contains names of aspirants in order of ranks secured by them. In addition to this, DTE would also publish the list of Top 10 Rankers.

Tie-breaking Criteria:

In case when two or more students secure the same marks, then the following tie-breaking criteria will be used to determine the merit position of the individuals in descending order:

• The student who scores higher marks in the order of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry is taken into consideration.
• Candidate older in age is preferred.
• Marks of aspirants in Class 10+2 qualifying examination will be considered.
