IBSAT Cut off 2022 will be released soon as the result has been declared on Dec 29, 2022. How to check IBSAT 2022 Cutoff?

The examinee can check the IBSAT 2022 cutoffs on the website itself

  • A notification regarding the declaration of the results would be published on the IBS official website accompanying the ‘IBSAT 2022 CUTOFF’ or ‘IBSAT 2022 Result’ link.
  • Only the students who have registered for and undertaken the IBSAT 2022 exam can view the cutoffs by entering their credentials ( Registration number/Roll number and password)
  • Following which the candidate can check his result as well as view the cutoffs for the campuses he can then apply for the next selection rounds.

The candidates clearing the IBSAT 2022 would be required to follow the steps below for selection into the MBA/PGDM programmes of IBS-ICFAI Business schools. 

  • Depending upon his/her cutoffs the candidate would be required to book a ‘Seminar’ at any of the IBS campuses he has cleared the cutoff for. He can apply for only one ‘Seminar’ at a time and seats are allocated in the ‘seminar’ on a first come first serve basis.
  • The candidate is required to attend the seminar at the chosen institute on the given date and time.
  • The inaugural event would be the Orientation Briefings about the IBS institute
  • Following the event, the candidate would have to attend Group Discussions where he would be evaluated based upon his performance.
  • The last round of the seminar would be the ‘Personal Interview round’ 
  • The institute would later release a ‘Merit list’ of the selected students on the website and the students selected would have to confirm their seats by paying the fees and reporting at the respective campuses. Ans. Different campuses of IBS Business school release their own specific cut-offs after the declaration of the results. Similarly, the institutes accepting the IBSAT scores release their own cutoff scores for admissions.

Ques. Is there a general indicative list as to which IBS Business schools require what minimum IBSAT cutoff scores?

Ques. Is clearing IBSAT cutoff enough to get admissions in IBS Business schools?

Ans. No, after clearing the IBSAT cutoff for the particular campus, the candidates are required to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The candidate would be selected on the basis of combined scores of the Main exam, GD and PI. In order to appear for these rounds, the candidate has to register himself for one of the ‘seminars’ conducted at various campuses.

Ques. Are the IBSAT cutoff scores the same for all the candidates irrespective of category?

Ans. Yes, the cutoff criteria of the various campuses do not depend upon the category of the candidate. Also, there is a reservation of seats on the basis of category. All applicants are treated equally and given equal chances for IBSAT exams.

Ques. Are there any sectional cutoffs to be cleared other than the overall IBSAT cutoff?

Ans. It depends. Some campuses like IBS Hyderabad and Mumbai do require the applicant to clear the sectional of around 33% in each section of the exam. Whereas, other campuses such as Dehradun and Jaipur do not require the candidate to clear any sectional cutoff.

Ans. As per the previous result trends the minimum cutoff of admissions into any IBS campus is around 55. Hence, a student must score a minimum for 55 + percentile in the IBSAT exam in order to gain admission into any IBS Business school campus
