It is the document that is to be carried at the exam centers along with a valid photo ID proof.

ICFAI will announce the results of the examination via online mode. It can be checked by visiting the official website and logging in with valid credentials. Candidates qualifying the exam and securing the minimum cutoff marks will proceed to the further selection rounds i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Check IBSAT Cutoff

The answer key of IBSAT will be released a few days before the results are announced.

With the announcement of results, ICFAI will also issue the ISBAT scorecard.

Note: The entire selection process for all the programs will be conducted at IBS Hyderabad campus.

ISBAT 2022 Selection Process

Candidates qualifying the examination will be called for further selection rounds viz. Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
These rounds will be conducted by ICFAI and other affiliated management institutes.
On the basis of scores obtained in all three selection rounds, a final merit list will be prepared.
Once the list is released, it can be viewed online on the official website of IBSAT by just entering the candidate’s roll number and name.
University will individually communicate with the candidates regarding the admissions in the field of their interest in management courses.

Ques. Does IBS accept CAT Score?

Ans. There are candidates who are exempted from taking IBSAT. They are directly called upon for IBSAT Group Discussion and Personal Interview. In order to avail of this facility, candidates must have a valid score in any of the following exams:

CAT
GMAT
NMAT by GMAC
XAT

These exams are substitutes for IBSAT for admission to the management programs at all IBS Campuses.

Ques. How can I get a seat in IBS Hyderabad?

Ans. As per the conducting body, there is no defined IBSAT Seat Allotment policy for any category. There are no fixed norms followed for IBSAT Seat Allotment.

Aggregate marks requirement for every category is similar, hence even reserved category candidates must secure the same marks as general category candidates.
The minimum marks required to appear for IBSAT 2022 is 50% for MBA / PGPM Program
The application fee of INR 1800 is also the same for all categories. There is no relaxation in the application fee for SC, ST, or OBC categories.

Ans. IBS Selection Briefings are a round of seminars that have been developed to provide prospective applicants with information about the courses and programs that IBS offers. These are generally followed by the next stage which includes group discussion and personal interview.

You will receive a direct call for GD-PI, which is a crucial factor in determining which IBS campus you will be allotted to. To increase your chances of getting a call, it is recommended that you attempt all questions during IBSAT as there is no negative marking. The competition begins with the GD-PI process, as IBS Hyderabad scans about 20,000 shortlisted candidates for over 10 days, out of which only 1200 students are selected for the main campus, while the rest are allotted to other campuses based on their individual preferences. Your IBSAT score is not the only determining factor for admission to IBS Hyderabad. Your performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, as well as your academic background, will also be considered. It is advisable to prepare well for these rounds. However, the return on investment (ROI) at IBS Hyderabad is relatively low. During the 2022 placement season, the college recorded a placement rate of 99%. The average package offered was INR 8.71 LPA, with the highest international and domestic packages being INR 53.45 LPA and INR 21 LPA, respectively. Despite these strong numbers, the cost of studying at IBS Hyderabad is relatively high, with students expected to spend 16 to 18 lakhs on their education. Additionally, given that the college enrolls over 1200 students each year, competition for placements and other opportunities is intense. One advantage of studying at IBS Hyderabad is the opportunity to network with a diverse group of students from all over India. Firstly, ISB Hyderabad has no cutoff whatsoever. In fact, the marks of ISBAT and individual subjects are not revealed ever. The eligible candidates directly receive a call inviting them to the GD-PI process. So attempting the test with full confidence and preparation is more than enough to get the call. Since there is no negative marking you can attempt as many questions as possible. The main struggle starts post-ISBAT if you get selected for GD-PI. From around 20000 shortlisted candidates only 1200 are selected for the main campus. So instead of ISBAT, your main focus should be on preparing for the GD-PI round. Anyone with decent aptitude skills can get shortlisted but only a few who have an extraordinary profile and stand out from the crowd can get selected during the GD-PI process....Read more
