JEECE Exam Pattern 2023: Syllabus, Marking Scheme, Important Topics, and Books

JEECE Exam Pattern 2023 is defined by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). The exam is held in offline mode as a single paper for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses. There are 3 sections namely, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 50 questions each in JEECE 2023. 

JEECE Syllabus is based on the common syllabus for Class 12 from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. JEECE 2023 is expected to be conducted in the month of May 2023 in Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, and Ranchi. In case of any ambiguity in the question paper, the English version shall be treated as final.

JEECE Marking Scheme 2023

Knowing about the marking scheme is a crucial bit of information that helps a candidate in planning the strategy of attempting questions. The section below covers the details regarding JEECE marking scheme 2023 and type of questions asked: 

  • JEECE Question Paper holds 150 questions. 50 questions from each subject, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Objective type questions are asked. Each question has 4 options, of which, only 1 option is correct.
  • 1 mark is awarded for each right answer whereas 0.25 marks are deducted for the wrong one.
  • No mark is deducted for unattempted questions.

Note: OMR Sheets provided to the candidates during the exam are machine gradable sheets. They are highly scrutinized before declaring JEECE Result.

Instructions

JEECE 2023 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates should pay attention to the following instructions to avoid any unforeseen circumstances on the day of the exam.

  • Make proper arrangements of things to be carried like JEECE Admit Card, stationery, Photo ID, etc. beforehand.
  • Visit the exam venue 45 minutes before the scheduled time of the exam.
  • Bubble the OMR sheet as per the instructions are given on the back of the sheet.
  • Do not carry any electronic items like mobile, calculators, etc. with you on exam day.
  • Take your time in reading the instructions on the question paper so as to avoid any mistakes.
