JELET 2023 Application Form (Out), Exam Dates, Fee, Process, Eligibility

JELET 2023 Application Form has been released on December 29, 2022. Interested candidates can apply for the exam at the official website of WBJEEB – wbeeb.nic.in till January 17, 2023. JELET 2023 is going to be conducted on June 10, 2023. 

  • WBJEE JELET Admit card will be released in the Last week of May 2023. Check JELET 2023 Admit Card
  • Examination fee is INR 500 plus bank’s service charges as applicable. Examination fee is not refundable.
  • The application fee can be paid online or offline in the form of bank challan through any Allahabad Bank branch.
  • Candidates can submit only one application form. In case of multiple applications, all applications will be rejected.
  • Candidate’s name, father’s name, mothers’ name and date of birth must be same as those registered in 12th standard examination.
  • Candidate should have passed Diploma and B.Sc.

JELET 2023 Form Correction 

  • JELET 2023 Form Correction can be done by logging into the admissions portal on the official website using their registration number and password.
  • Applicants can make the required changes by clicking on the “Edit” button
  • No changes will be allowed in primary candidature information such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, and date of birth.
  • No changes will be allowed after the form correction period is over.

JELET Eligibility Criteria 2023

The eligibility for JELET 2023 entrance examination is determined on – 

Citizenship

  • The applicants must be a citizen of India.

Age Criteria

  • There is no age limit for the candidates possessing a diploma degree in Engineering or Technology or Pharmacy.
  • On the other hand for B.Sc and Diploma candidates the age will be calculated as on December 31, 2023 basis.

JELET Application guide

How to fill JELET Application Form 2023?

Application for the JELET 2023 will be available ONLINE only through the web- portal i.e. wbjeeb.in

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website i.e. wbjeeb.in
  • After entering all the details the candidates need to choose a password and also have to answer some security questions.
  • An application number will be generated which will be sent in the form of SMS or email to the candidate.
  • It is recommended that the applicants should note down the password and the security question/answers for further reference as the system is automatic.
  • The candidates may now continue to the next step.

Note: The applicants must be aware of the fact that the password cannot be recovered if forgotten or lost. Any attempt to make a duplicate registration by the candidate will be detected by the system and will be stopped immediately.

Step 2: Filling the Application Form

Candidate has to fill their basic information, personal details, communication details and academic details here. Candidate also has to choose their academic qualification from the list below –

Step 3: Image Uploading

The candidate has to upload the scanned coloured photograph, signature and left thumb impression. The details and instructions are given below which candidate has to follow at the time of uploading.

  • Low-quality photographs taken by mobile or self-composed portraits are likely to be rejected.
  • The background of the photograph should not be of dark colour.
  • The face of the candidate must occupy at least 50% of the photo and it should be straight forward to the camera.
  • The spectacle should not be of dark-coloured or must not have tinted glass.
  • The photograph must match the face of the candidate.
  • The applicants must produce the same photo on the examination day.

Step 4: Payment 

  • After uploading the images the candidates are automatically redirected to the payment page.
  • The amount payable for the entrance examination is INR 500.
  • Candidates can either pay the money through offline or online mode.
  • In order to do an offline payment the candidates has to make the payment in cash from any branch of Allahabad Bank via e-challan with the help of Core Banking Services.
  • The fee once paid is not refundable whatsoever the circumstance is.

Step 5: Confirmation

  • After completion of all the above steps the candidates are automatically redirected to the “Confirmation Page” which is further needed to be downloaded and printed.
  • The ‘Confirmation Page’ signifies the successful completion of Online-submission of JELET Application Form 2023.
