To appear for NATA 2023, it is necessary for the aspirants to meet NATA Eligibility Criteria. Candidates who have qualified Class 12th or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects are eligible to apply.

NATA Registration 2023
NATA Application Form is completely online and interactive in nature as well. The entire registration form is divided into sections and subsections for the ease of candidates. Fields are described as mandatory as a must, without which the form will not be submitted. Online guidance is provided to the candidate while filling the Application form.
- When candidates arrive at a certain field a cursor tip message is shown which assists the candidate to enter the required detail.

A unique 8 digit Application number is provided to every applicant along with which they have to choose their password which is essential for further entries.
Steps to Fill NATA Application Form 2023
NATA 2023 Application process is divided mainly into 3 steps: Personal and Qualification details, Document and Image uploading, and fee payment. In the end, a confirmation page is displayed which has to be downloaded and kept for future reference.
Step 1: Basic Registration
Candidates have to begin filling out the application form by creating a login Id and Password. Personal details like name, gender, and contact information are required for the same. A uniques Id and security question are mandatory to generate the application number.
A unique 8 digit Application number is created which along with the password can be used for further login and form filling.
Step 2: Re-Login and Fill out the Application Form
Using the generated credentials candidates have to login again to their portal and complete the application form. Qualification details, marks, and Exam center preference likewise have to be mentioned at this stage.
Step 3: Upload Scanned Images
Scanned copies of required documents: Candidate’s photograph and Signature is to be uploaded. The photograph has to be recent and preferably taken on a light background. Signature should be scanned on a white background in a clear format. Specifications of the images to be uploaded are tabulated down below, candidates should take note of the same.

Aspirants need to download the prefilled registration form and procure the necessary registration documents. They would also be required to select a NATA Test Center from the official website at a location convenient to the candidate. Approach the Test center for Appointment for NATA Exam. Payment Through Electronic Payment Gateway
NATA only accepts online fee payment. By clicking on “payment of fee using EPG services” candidates will be redirected to a new gateway page. Options available are Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking are available to complete the payment process. Successful payment status will be shown on candidate's homepage. Guidelines for filling NATA Online Application Form
Personal Information
Candidates should make sure they enter their personal credentials as mentioned in Class 12th or equivalent exam certificate.
- Applicants Name, Father’s Name, and Mother’s Name should be no more than 46 characters and as mentioned in the school leaving certificate. Prefixes like Sri, Mr, Ms, Dr, Late are not required.
- Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format as recorded in the secondary or higher secondary certificate.
- Three gender categories Male/ Female and Transgender are to be chosen from along with General/ SC/ST/ OBC/NCL.
- Persons with disabilities section is auto-filled as NO, If positive, you have to choose Yes from the drop-down menu with the type as well: Visual Acuity/ One Eye Vision/ Physically Challenged and others.
- Aadhar Number is not a mandatory category but candidates have to duly fill their place of residence: Rural/ Urban or Sub Urban along with nationality Indian/ Oci/ PIO/ Foreign nationals.
Qualification Details
Details like Passed/ Appearing status, Year, Stream and Affiliated Board is to be mentioned. Institute name and address, percentage marks obtained and Roll No. is mandatory at both Class 10 and 10+2 level.
Choice of First and Second Test Session
- Candidates can opt for the first session or second session or both of them as per their choice.
- Applying for the second test is not mandatory if applicants are planning to appear for the first one. It is on the discretion of the candidate.
Address of Communication
Candidates have to enter their residential address, domicile: both state and district with pincode. Functioning and valid Email Id, Mobile or Landline number are to be mentioned for further correspondence.
Password Generation
Candidates must create a password for login of minimum 8 to 13 characters with one alphabet, numeral, special character. In case candidates forget their password they should retrieve a new one which should not be identical to the previous three passwords.
One security questions from a drop down list of questions is to be chosen, a relevant answer for which is to be entered and noted down for future retreival of password.
How to Retrieve NATA 2023 Candidate ID?
All the candidates have the option to retrieve their NATA 2023 Candidate ID. They can simply follow the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official site of NATA 2023
- Click on “Find NATA Candidate ID”
- Enter 10th standard Roll Number, 10th passing year and 10th board name in respective text-box.
- Enter the verification code and then click on “Find NATA Candidate ID”. The ID will be displayed on the screen.
- In case one forgets the password, click on ‘Forgot password’ link and answer the security question.
- If one forgets the security question too, opt for the option to change your password. You will receive a mail to change the password in your registered mail ID.
NATA 2023 Application Form Status
- Applicants can check the status of their application form by logging into the official site.
- Put your application number and password in the input box and click ‘submit’. The complete application form will be displayed.
- Candidates will be able to view their application form. Any empty field will be marked red and completed fields will be marked green
- A message will be displayed if payment is incomplete or pending.
- Candidates are required to make the required changes to submit the completely filled form.
NATA 2023 Application Form Correction
Candidates who make any discrepancies while filling the application form are provided a facility to correct their mistake through application form correction. The application form correction process for Phase 1 will be conducted in April 2023. Candidates have to follow the steps below:
- Candidates should create a new ticket on the Helpdesk with the subject/title: “Error Correction:<>”
- They must then describe the nature of the error and the correction required.

NATA 2023 Exam Center Allocation
Council of Architecture conducts NATA in all state capitals and selected cities across India. Allotment of the exam center is subject to availability of at least 200 students in a particular exam center/ city. Though the authorities will provide centers as per the preference of the candidates but the discretion lies with the authority.
