TANATA 2022 Seat Allocation
The seats allocated depend on the quota requirements, such as the government quota that is filled based on the 12th-grade marks of the applicants and the management quota dependent on the NATA and TANATA marks. The seats that are vacant after the allocation of all the aforementioned quota will then be filled by the other applicants based on their NATA or TANATA marks and if there are seats still left then the JEE Mains marks may be considered.

- The candidate that has secured a higher score in the General Aptitude section of the paper.
- The candidate with lesser incorrect answers from the ones answered in the General Aptitude section.
- The candidate whose DOB (Date of Birth) is before the other's.
TANATA 2022 Counselling
As the marks haven’t been declared yet but a few weeks after they are the counselling for the eligible candidates will take place. Counselling will begin with the candidates that have secured the highest rank and will continue on till the last person who has secured the eligible rank. Along with the rank, the order of counselling will be based on the college opted for by the candidate, communal reservations, and the availability of the candidate. Important things to know about the counselling are:
- The candidates will have to report at the date and time informed to them by Anna University counseling in-charges. They should arrive two hours prior to the said time along with the original copies to ensure efficiency and in case of a problem, the situation can be handled.
- Candidates will be required to submit original copies of the certificates (mentioned later in the article) and only after that will the provisional allotment of the college be done. If the candidate has submitted certificates to college that he/she/they have been admitted in, then a letter from the Head of the Institution needs to be sent, which will further forward photocopies of the certificates for verification.
- Anna University will communicate all the details about the counselling session of the students, respectively through their website and once the date and time have been selected there can be no changes. The university does not take any responsibility of non-receipt from the candidate’s end and if the candidate misses his counselling then their admission may be terminated.
- If the candidate is not able to come because of an inevitable or unforeseen engagement, then the parents of the candidate can take his/her/their place and the decision of the parent will be enforced for the candidate. It will be the final decision.
- If the candidate had sent a complaint or a request for a re-check, then the marks and the rank after the re-check will be taken into account and a call letter for counselling will be sent according to the rank. A new date and time will be assigned to the aforementioned candidate.
