UCEED Exam Pattern aims at checking the analytical and numerical ability of a candidate, apart from drawing skills. UCEED 2023 Question Paper would be Objective based and of 3 hours duration. The paper would be in English and would consist of two parts - Part A and Part B, both parts being compulsory. Part A would be computer based, containing MCQ,MSQ and NAT type Questions and Part B would be pen and paper based to test the drawing skills of the candidate.
UCEED 2023 registrations will commence from September 30, 2022 and the exam is scheduled to be held on January 22, 2023. The aspirants should go through the UCEED Syllabus and the exam pattern very carefully while preparing for the exam. UCEED 2023 Exam Pattern : Paper Pattern
UCEED 2023 exam consists of 1 question paper. However, the question paper itself is divided into 2 Parts : Part A and Part B, both of which are mandatory to be attempted. The details of parts are given below.

PART A
Part A is computer based and contains 3 sections :
- Section 1 : Numerical Answer Type
Candidates are required to provide numerical answers to the questions asked by using a virtual keyboard.

PART B
Part B would be of 60 marks and 30 minutes. It would consist of only ONE question to test the candidates drawing skills. The question would be displayed on the computer screen and the candidate has to provide an answer to it in the answer book provided to him.

- Focuses on diagrammatic representation of data.

Observation and design sensitivity
- It enhances the ability to extract hidden data.
- Analysis and logical reasoning plays an important role in defining both people and situations critically.

Design thinking and problem solving
- This area will judge if students can identify and analyze complex data.
- Candidates need to identify problems and generate a solution that will best fit the situation.

Exam Day Instructions
- Read the questions carefully and with full concentration since there might be time constraint if one wastes too much time on one question.
- All three sections need to be attempted with equal zeal hence time distribution is very important to allot equal time to all three sections.
- Any questions which remain unattempted will be null and void so the score will improve with more questions attempted.
- Since the last section of Part A (MSQ) also carries negative marking, it will be advisable to invest more time on this section and try to make fewer mistakes on this section.
