UCEED 2023 Syllabus: IIT Bombay has revised the syllabus for UCEED 2024. Candidates can check the syllabus at the official website – uceed.iitb.ac.in. UСEED Syllаbus fоr 2024 is bаsed оn the 10+2 stаndаrd. UСEED is а twо-раrt test-bаsed exаminаtiоn. Part A is computer-based, whereas Part B consists of sketching-related questions that must be answered on the given sheet. Both portions must be completed within the time limit.
Part A of the UCEED 2024 Syllabus comprises six topics and the test lasts two and a half hours, but Part B of UCEED 2024 Exam has only one drawing-related question. Topics covered in UCEED 2024 Syllabus include sketching products, situations, and objects in proportion with acceptable line quality, perspective, composition, proportion, and shading. UCEED Syllabus 2024 for Design Thinking аnd Рrоblem Sоlving
- Visual analogies, metaphors, signs, and symbols are all examples of this ability. Understanding complexity, identifying difficulties, generating alternatives, evaluating possibilities, and selecting solutions are all skills required.
UCEED Syllabus 2024 Part 2
- Part B of the UCEED Syllabus 2024 has only one question worth 60 marks and will be administered in an offline style with a time limit of 30 minutes. Part B of the UCEED 2024 test includes a drawing question, which candidates must answer on an answer sheet provided in the exam room. Candidates are graded on their understanding of proportion, perspective, shading, and composition in this drawing question.
UCEED 2024 Prepration tips
- The most important skill is time management. One can practice solving old exam papers and mock test papers and quickly learn how long it takes to complete each part. As a result, you've established your priorities.
- The majority of the questions are based on pictographs and visuals, so focus on those first.
- Practice reading paragraphs and finding answers quickly in English. Improve your vocabulary. Every dаy, аdd new wоrds tо yоur writing.
- In terms of general knowledge, there is no need to devote much time to it. It is not necessary to memorise in a stressful manner. Continue to read the newspaper and watch the news. General notes can be made only to go over this on sometimes.
- Students who plan to take the UCEED 2024 entrance exam will benefit from knowing the UCEED 2024 Syllabus ahead of time. Candidates can also check the previous year question paper of UCEED, which will indicate the type of questions that will be asked in different sections of the entrance test, in addition to the topics from which questions will be asked.
Guidelines for PwD Facilities
- A scribe (amanuensis) is available to applicants who have a handicap in their upper limbs or have lost fingers / hands, making it impossible for them to operate the computer for the exam.
- To take advantage of this incentive, candidates must select the option in the online registration form and provide a copy of their PwD certificate while registering for UCEED 2024 online.
- If a disabled candidate requires compensatory time (maximum of one hour), they must request it when filling out the application form. Such requests must be accompanied by a PwD certificate.
- If your request and supporting documentation are judged to be eligible, the UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee 2024 will contact you via email with further instructions.
- If it is discovered that a candidate has used the services of a scribe and/or compensatory time, but does not have the level of handicap that necessitates the use of a scribe and/or compensatory time, the candidate will be removed from the evaluation, ranking, and admission process.
- The candidate's admission will be revoked if he or she has already been accepted.

UCEED Part A Exam Pattern 2024
In this phase of the exam, aspirants must complete NAT, MSQ, and MCQ questions in two hours and 30 minutes, according to the UCEED exam schedule. Part A of the UCEED exam is a computer-based test with three sections:
- Section A: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions - The answer to the questions in this section of the exam is a number that candidates must enter using a virtual keyboard on the computer screen. For these questions, aspirants are not given any options (to mark answers).
- Section B: Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) - In this section, there are one or more alternatives (out of the four options) that can be the correct answer for each question (s). Candidates are only given points if they select all of the correct answers.
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) - Section C- Each question in this part offers four options from which applicants must choose the proper answer. Only one of the options in the MCQ section will be the right answer.
UCEED Part B Exam Pattern 2024
Candidates' sketching abilities are assessed in this area of the UCEED exam. Part B of the UCEED test consists of a subjective question that candidates must answer in 30 minutes. The question in this phase of the exam is displayed on a computer screen, and applicants must draw/ write their answers on an answer sheet/ booklet provided by the invigilator inside the exam venue.

Q5) Is there a limit to how many times one may take the UCEED exam?
