What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“Introducing more innovative and work driven courses”

My responsibility towards the student is that we should motivate the young generation so that they show keen interest to pursue market driven courses that demand much innovation and proactive instances to be undertaken in future. The supply and logistics, fire safety management course or executive management course are the upcoming areas in the current market scenario. The objective here is to not just attenuate or reduce the risk, but, to monitor and take precautionary measures in a more professional manner, which could only be done by individuals pursuing such courses.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects?

“Bringing in logistics of industrial world”

We offer advanced courses that help students gain skills in terms of operational efficiency, for company success, for customer satisfaction, further aiding customer service, decreasing the operating cost, and improving the financial position. This way we try to make it more practical and essential for the young graduates. To do that we depute various corporate executives for teaching varied papers wherein they provide case study based lectures and knowledge of industry oriented practices.

How do you help your student to cope up with the high competition outside?

“Good industrial connection and teaching pedagogy”

As there is an effective institute industry interface, academic as well as corporate discussion the value of the students is automatically enhanced. We make sure that our students get the best exposure and hands-on experience to maintain a pace with the ever-changing technological world. We have some communication class, then hardware software class and some kind of general management classes also. So through this, we are adding some sort of management skill oriented efficiency in our students.

What do you see as your college’s greatest strengths?

“Integration with Industry Professionals”

Definitely the faculty input is the greatest strength in our institution. A very learned pool of dignitaries from various dignified offices of West Bengal has been deputed to spread the light of knowledge amongst these young students. They share what they face every day in industry and the competition outside, which definitely helps the students to gain knowledge. We constantly strive to adopt the technology that is currently in demand with the public as well as the private sector.

What valuable advice would you like to the students?

“Career counselling is must for every student”

Students must pursue career advice seriously. Seek for counselling and mentor’s help if you’re stuck. Always think of pros and cons of your decisions before taking them into action. Remember, it’s easier to start from a zero than a negative point.
