Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore examination results are uploaded online on its web-portal within 25-30 days of the examination. The semester-end examination is conducted at the end of each semester i.e. in the month of November-December (Odd Semester) and in the month of April-May (Even Semester). It also conducts three unit tests during each semester. GCT provides an examination timetable to the students before the commencement of the examination.

GCT Coimbatore academic curriculum is semester-based. Every academic year is divided into two semesters i.e. Odd & Even semester. The Odd semester starts in June and ends in December, while the even semester begins in January and ends in May. Admissions into all undergraduate courses are through the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) under Anna University and PG admissions are granted on the basis of a valid  GATE.

GCT declares the result of the semester-end examination on its official website within 35-40 days after the commencement of the examination. Students of UG/PG/MS courses can check their result of semester examination by simply entering their Registration No. The result of odd semester examination is announced in the month of January, whereas the even semester examination result is declared in the month of May. All the students of GCT can check their result with the help of the following steps.

  • Go to the GCT’s official website
  • On the home page, click on the “Results” option under the “News and Events” column.
  • On the Result page, enter your “Registration No.”
  • Press “Enter” and get your result
  • Take a printout for future use
