Step 2: Following page will show where all courses will be available. Select MBBS and it will direct to the login page as shown:

AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern 2023

AIIMS Delhi MBBS entrance exam is a computer-based test consisting of multiple-choice questions. Exam is divided into four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge. Each section carries equal weightage, and the total duration of the exam is three and a half hours.

• It will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam duration will be of 3 hours & 30 minutes.
• The question paper will be in Hindi or English as per the student’s preference.
• Each correct answer will be awarded one mark & 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

AIIMS MBBS Methods of Resolving Ties

AIIMS MBBS entrance exam is a highly competitive exam with a large number of applicants. In such a scenario, it is not uncommon for multiple candidates to score the same marks, leading to a tie in the ranking. To resolve ties and determine the final ranking, AIIMS follows a specific set of rules. Here are the methods of resolving ties in AIIMS MBBS:

1. Higher Aggregate Scores: In case of a tie, the candidate with a higher aggregate score in the qualifying exam (Class 12th or equivalent) will be ranked higher.
2. Biology Scores: If the tie persists, then the candidate with a higher score in Biology in the entrance exam will be given priority.
3. Chemistry Scores: If the tie still persists, then the candidate with a higher score in Chemistry in the entrance exam will be given priority.
4. Physics Scores: If the tie still persists, then the candidate with a higher score in Physics in the entrance exam will be given priority.
5. Age: If the tie still persists, then the candidate older in age will be given priority.

It is essential to note that these methods of resolving ties are applied in the given order. In other words, if the first method is enough to resolve the tie, then the other methods will not be considered. It is also important to note that these rules are only applicable for determining the ranking of candidates and not for the selection process. The selection process is entirely based on merit and the availability of seats in a particular course and institution.
