Sakshi Chawla: “General (No reservation)”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Sakshi Chawla: “WAT was online mode. A Google doc link was given to all the students present in the zoom meeting. There were 7-8 students in one zoom meeting and it was proctored. Our video and audio were kept on throughout the process. WAT topic was related to current affairs like blockchain, cloud computing and likewise. It was about 20mins and 200-300 words.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Sakshi Chawla: "WAT topic- How AI is transforming things. How things are getting digitally transformed.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively? 

Sakshi Chawla: “Mentioned where AI is being used. Its advantages and disadvantages. How covid times changed to be digitally transformed. Need for digital transformation. Manpower will be of less use in the near future.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Sakshi Chawla: “3 panellists were there. Two male and one female. I think they were faculty members. It was an online interview for around 20mins. It was not a stressful interview. Normal questions were asked related to qualifications and work experience. Candidate must have good knowledge about herself/himself, aware of current affairs and why they wanted to do MBA and in which field.”

Sakshi Chawla: “1) About myself

Ans - talked about my qualification and then about my work experience and in the end, I mentioned my interest areas like playing basketball and love dancing.

2) why MBA and which field?

Ans - stated that want to have managerial knowledge with technical knowledge so that it will scale up my corporate ladder in a better way and add more feathers in my basket. I wanted to go for either business Analytics or digital transformation.

3) Which company and role?

Ans- worked with TCs for around 16 months and worked as an assistant system engineer.

4) Why you have a gap year?

Ans - was not able to give justice to my work as well my studies hence taken the decision to quit my job and prepare for MBA.

5) qualities you learned during your tenure with TCS.

Ans- leadership qualities”

Sakshi Chawla: “I think I should have answered the question more confidently and should have answers of my own and not mugged up just to answer.”
