Aligarh, June 15, 2019: The Department of Applied Science and Engineering of Mangalayatan University organised a two-day international seminar. The theme of the event was ‘Recents Trends in Mathematical Modeling’. A lot of mathematician scholars, professors, researchers of National and International repute participated and shared their valuable knowledge on the same with the students.

Prof. David Levin from Tel Aviv University said, “There are various models in the field of Mathematics to turn big problems small. We can easily eliminate those small problems altogether. The funny thing is that in Mathematics there are some models which are used only for big problems.”

While addressing the audience, Prof. Qamrul Hasan Ansari from Aligarh Muslim University said that the real-life is full of challenges, and mathematical calculations comes handy when it comes to solving those problems. The reason being, the calculations trains your mind to think practically and helps to calculate the percentage of risk involved.

Prof. Khalil Ahmad from Al-Falah University talked about the waves, and how they are generally used in the field of networking and communication till date. But with technological advancements, there are such models in mathematics, through which can use the wave elements to create a picture.

Apart from these scholars, Prof. Kalimuddin Ahmad from Aligarh University stressed upon the use and benefits of various techniques and models of mathematics. Dr. Yasir Sohail from the University of Connecticut, USA, threw some light on the exchange of signals and more. At last, Prof. PV Jain said that mathematics is a subject that is related to life. We can easily solve problems through all the developed models.
