Dr. S.Y Kulkarni is the Vice-Chancellor of REVA University, Bangalore. With an M.Tech. and Ph.D. in IIT Mumbai in VLSI Design, he has extensive experience in teaching, research, industry experience and administration in some of Karnataka’s most reputed high technology institutions.

A good leader always leads by example. With rich experience in both industry and academia, I am very proud to serve as Vice Chancellor of University. As a VC, I have ensured compliance with the accreditation standards for the advisory committee function and heading the core responsibilities of Administration, Teaching and R&D. At REVA University, research, consultancy and innovation are regarded as our pillars of success.

The biggest philosophy I believe in is that the process of learning is never ending. I believe in providing an environment conducive for practical learning. Thus, upgrading skills which help in future development of the individual (students or faculties) in facing the competitive world.

Our curriculum philosophy is to provide a range of relevant learning opportunities that support and develop students. In order to execute this effectively, we collaborate with a range of industries and companies across various sectors. This helps us to identify training needs and design and facilitate training programs to students accordingly.
