And I firmly believe that we can enhance our strengths by believing in everyone's skills and working as a team to contribute our fullest.

What approaches do you bring in apart from curriculum to teach the students?

"Every faculty use different approach to fix students issues and teach them beyond books"

All the faculty members of our college are highly educated and experienced and they use a wide variety of teaching pedagogies to make things simpler for students and to train them as per outside demands beyond books and curriculum. And we regularly interact with students to know about their interests and passion areas so that we can guide them properly. Lastly, we follow the principle of explicit instructions to address their academic and non-academic issues and questions and resolve them on time.

How does the curriculum of your department ensure the best practices of industry?

"It includes best programs and industrial exposure as industry experts are directly consulted during planning"

We design and update the curriculum of our department on a regular basis after rigorous analysis of industrial requirements and developments and students needs. Apart from this, we make sure that we include such courses and training which could ultimately enhance students employability skills. Also, we also take suggestions and inputs from faculty members and students about the usefulness and effectiveness of present and proposed study materials, level of engagement this study material offers and amount of effort they need to put into understanding the syllabus. Last but not the least, Technician and Industry Representatives are regularly involved in reviewing and examining the curriculum.

When you joined this Institute, what was your vision for it and how are you trying to achieve the same?

"Making students society and nation ready by imparting good quality education was my aim"

My goal when I joined this amazing institute was to educate and guide my students, make them technically proficient problem-solvers, lifelong learners and ethically and emotionally strong individuals who can produly and positively contribute to the economic growth of our region and nation as a whole by fixing the real world issues. And to make my goal true, I am following the concept of summative and formative assessment.

What challenges are you facing to uplift the education quality of your department?

"Students inattentive attitude and lack of seriousness towards their studies is a real challenge for us"

The biggest challenge which we are facing currently is that students don't take their studies seriously, they are just studying, taking lectures but are not putting extra efforts to use the studied knowledge to figure out solutions for some real world issues. Hence bridging this gap and educating our students in the right direction is our main responsibility.

How do you prepare your students for the outside competitive world?

"By encouraging them to upgrade their skills and experiment with their ideas"

For the purpose of making our students ready to confidently face this challenging world, we conduct self-awareness programs and clearly define our goals to them before every interactive session. Also, we offer work-integrated learning opportunities to educate them about how people and processes work in the real world. Lastly, we would encourage them to learn something from their mistakes and try to experiment with their ideas by coming out of their comfort zones.

What valuable advice would you like to give to the students for a prosperous career ahead?

"Don't stay in your comfort zone and keep learning new things"

I would suggest to my dear students and youths of our society to never stop learning as it is a continuous process which will help you to achieve your goals. Also keep upgrading your skills and develop a better version of yourself. Don't stay in your comfort zone for too long as you won't ever think of challenging yourself and setting new goals as well.
