For the 2018 batch, the Highest CTC offered was 38.10 LPA, lowest stood for 10 LPA, Average 22.7 LPA and Median 22 LPA. Though Median is the most promising way to get exact information of what one student exactly gets as CTC. Almost all students got placed in their preferred company as well as their area of interest.

GATE score is considered to get admission to M.Tech in IIIT Bangalore. There’s no fixed cut-off of GATE scores for admission. IIIT Bangalore offers two M.Tech courses for CSE and ECE. Recently, IIIT Bangalore has rolled out the first GATE cut off 2020 for both M.Tech (CSE) and M.Tech (ECE).

For M.Tech (CSE), the GATE score cut off in the first list is 643 and for M.Tech (ECE), the GATE score cut off in the first list is 669. The university has also issued a table that reflects the commutative number of candidates who haven’t secured admission offers in the first list but will be considered for admission in the future lists.

IIT BHU shortlisted students for M.Tech admission on the basis of score in GATE and only those students who apply for the counselling process at COAP portal are considered for admission. IIT BHU also conducts tests/interviews for the shortlisted students. If you are shortlisted, the institute will give you a date. The students will need to visit the institute for a written exam and personal interview. The written exam and interview will be conducted separately for each specialization. Yes, the main new campus hostel will accommodate M.Tech students. Due to severe cyclonic storm 'Fani', the main campus of IIT Bhubaneswar which is at Argul took huge damage. But the authorities acted quickly on renovation and from May 2019, M.Tech students were accommodated at the permanent campus in Argul along with other students.

There are accommodations for both boys and girls in Brahmaputra Hall of Residence and Ganga Hall of Residence respectively. Hostel rooms are on a single-occupant basis. Hostels are equipped with basic facilities like Wi-Fi, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Table Tennis, and Carrom, etc. Inside the campus, there are ATM facilities available 24 hours. There is also a small shopping complex from where students can buy their daily necessities.

Yes, hostels are provided to M.TECH students at IIT Bhubaneswar, Earlier, both these hostels were outside the main campus of IIT Bhubaneswar because the campus was still being constructed. From 2019 July onwards IIT Bhubaneswar gives accommodations to MTech students in the permanent campus in Argul. Two new hostels came up last year with the names Brahmaputra Hall of Residence and Ganga Hall of Residence. The Brahmaputra Hall of residence accommodates all the boys from MTech, MSc, and Ph.D. branches to go along with the BTech first-year boys and the Ganga Hall of Residence accommodates all the girls. Each MTech student has his/her separate rooms inside the hostel and the hostel is equipped with all the facilities ranging from washing machines for laundry to the gymnasium.
