NIT Jalandhar placements are good for M.Tech. According to the recent placement highlights, the average CTC offered for M.Tech branches is around INR 6 LPA. The highest CTC offered goes up to INR 10 LPA. Comparably CSE has a better placement record. Adobe, Oracle, OYO, Intel, L&T, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive.

In NIT Jalandhar, the placement for CSE is remarkable for both M.Tech and B.Tech students. If you are good at coding, you can get placed with really good packages. And the irony is that B.Tech students are really at par with their coding skills so it becomes a competition for the M.Tech students.

The package that is offered by the companies for the B.Tech students and the M.Tech students is the same. The average package ranges around 13.57 lakhs per annum and the highest is around 43 lakh per annum, according to the 2020 placement highlights. There are a few companies like Samsung R&D, Bangalore or Nokia, Bangalore, they prefer M. Tech students due to the research aspect that they require.

The college has a really good environment so you can prepare for GATE as well as PSU. NIT Jalandhar has collaborated with various other colleges like NIT Delhi, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Srinagar and you can sit for placements in these as well.
