Why is PEC losing its good ranking? Is it true that NIT Jalandhar will cross it within a few years?

PECs previous director wasn’t a very good educationist. The infrastructure, curriculum and the extracurriculars suffered under his leadership. But things have changed in PEC now. The new director has the opposite ideals. There has been a gradual increase in the quality of education at PEC. Some changes are: Infrastructure is being improved The curriculum has been made more challenging PEC Fest stole the show for the year So the long standing reputation combined with the strong alumni network will not disappoint you. PEC is not losing its good ranking and NIT Jalandhar is nowhere near it.

Which is better NIT Jamsedhpur, NIT Raipur, NIT K,NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jalandhar, DTU, NSIT or IIEST Shibpur?

There is nothing called a better college. One college can be good for you but bad for others. Similarly a college can be bad for someone else but perfect for you. Every college has its own flaws. So it depends on how much you are willing to overlook and get the best results. Still if I have to make a choice among the above colleges, I will go for NIT Hamirpur. The peaceful ambiance and beautiful infrastructure is worth it.

Is NIT Jalandhar among the top 10 NITs?

NIT Jalandhar is a deemed university founded as a joint venture between Govt of Punjab and India. The institute offers more than 50 courses in 12 academic departments. NIT Jaipur or MNIT is the best among the options you have mentioned. The reason it is ranked better than others is its location. Nit Jalandhar worth it or not !!

Placement Experience:

The students in 4th year only are eligible for campus placement but other students can apply for an internship which is important for getting good placements. Most percentages of students get placed and the left out mostly apply for further high education. Many companies visit here like Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, Walmart, Global, tech India, etc.

Good NIT

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is good for this college many companies offer internships to the students such as small and big companies after the 6th semester. The company's name is Amazon, google, Flipkart, TCS, etc. Small roles in companies are offered to the students because they are inexperienced and they are at the stage of learning. They are provided with the internship with a stipend of somewhere between 30000 to 100000. Their project is based on the department of the students of which they are students.

Placement Experience:

Placement for our college is good, placement percentages for the different departments are different for example for the cse department it is approx 95%, for ece is also 90% and other branches also get good placement whose percentage is greater than 70%. After the 6th or 7th semester students become Eligible for the placement. All the great companies like amazon, google, meta, TCS, Flipkart, l and t, and many more. A good number of offers were made to the students by these companies. The highest package for the cse is 65 lakhs which is offered by Amazon and the average is 15 lakhs, the highest package for ece is more than 1cr and the Average package is also 14 lakhs which are offered by google. Usually, 70 to 80% get placed. I am interested in getting the job.

In my college (NITJ) placement is good for Cse ECE And IT students, whereas in other branches placement is okay-okay like IT Branches avg package revolves around 15 lakhs and for other lower branches, revolves around 7-10 Lakhs. Very a fabulous campus, with amazing faculty and also a good parking facility, helping staff is very cooperative. Cocurricular activities are also very good and regular. Some companies like lnt and Tata also came to campus.

In NITJ there PRs (Placement Representative) are selected from each branch there PR Spread information about the arriving companies to students according to their skills and CGPA. In our college ECE has the highest package of 1.2CR (where avg is 15lkahs for its branches and others are 7.5 lakh avg)
