What are some interesting behind-the-scenes stories about IIM Bangalore placements?

One of my friends graduated from IIM Bangalore. He shared some of the interesting stories of the placements with me. Here are a few of them.

• Placements at IIMB are jam-packed into 2 days. The placement cell tries to get all students placed in as little time as possible. In the process, students give interviews one after the other until they are selected by a company. Many times it happens that people have no idea what interview they are going into. I know one crazy story where the candidate going into an Ola interview talks and praises Uber.
• The GD day conducted by the companies is an altogether different experience. You might end up attending 15 GDs from morning to midnight. And while attending these GDs you will find all sorts of characters. Some will never be able to say a single word while some will shout and try to dominate others. You see people walking around tired. You see people break down as well.
• The whole process is managed by students. A part of this team is called trackers. One funny incident was when 5 to 6 trackers huddled together outside a room trying to seem all busy and acting as if they were discussing something serious. It is odd since usually one of them is at a place let alone 6 together. They were actually interested in the hot HR from one of the recruiting companies.
