A lot of my friends studied at Delhi University. According to them it is a really good institution and is preferred by both local and outstation students.

The colleges in Delhi University are all equally good since the curriculum and syllabus are set centrally.
The faculties are all very educated and qualified in all the colleges.
Even the exam is conducted at the university level.
BA Economics honors are the most demanding and prestigious course in DU. Therefore, you require a higher percentage if you belong to the unreserved category.
Try to score above 90% to get into DU and above 95% to get into good colleges of DU. In the end, it all depends on your score.

The colleges are more or less the same. The only aspect in which the colleges differ is placement. There are certain colleges were some good companies come to recruit students and you can expect a good-paying job from them. These include St. Stephen’s College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Shri Ram College, Hansraj College, Hindu College.
