Admission Process:

• Admissions to the FISAT BTech program is based on the scores obtained inKEAM/JEE Mains, followed by counseling, and admission to the program through management quota is based on the rank in the merit list.
• At SCMS Cochin, Admission is through counseling based on rank obtained in Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical (KEAM), and the same is for the Management quota.
• At SCE, admission is granted on the basis of the performance in KEAM. The minimum age for an applicant should be 17.

• For Rajagiri, admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in KEAM. Remaining seats will be filled by the Institute based on the marks obtained in 10+2.
• At MBCET, admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in KEAM. Remaining 50% Management quota seats will be filled on the basis of entrance test and 10+2 marks (50:50)

• Admissions to the FISAT BTech program is based on the scores obtained inKEAM/JEE Main, followed by counselling, and admission to the programme through management quota is based on the rank in the merit list. 50% of total seats are reserved for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, and the remaining 50% are reserved for management quota (including NRI)

• The clubs in Amrita are almost international, as it conducts the prestigious ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest). Which itself is a benchmark to look for, acknowledging non-premier institutes like IITs, NITs, and BITs. 
• The clubs in Amrita are more diverse and active. It's tech-fest ANOKHA is also much better. 

If you don’t have a blend with a very diverse crowd go for Amrita. Going by all the factors mentioned above, it is safe to say that Amrita University is a better alternative.

Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is affiliated under the Kerala Technological University (KTU). The institute is a private, self financing engineering college offering engineering and management programs. Admission is done on the basis of various accepted exams like KEAM, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, GATE and JEE Main.

Admission Requirements 

• A student should at least have 50% in their 10+2 qualifying exams (for B.Tech) and 60% in graduation (for M.Tech).
• The application fee ranges from INR 350 to INR 750 based on the course of your choice.
• For MBA students after their selection through CAT scores will be followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• For MCA, students must have Mathematics in their Bachelor’s Degree.
• Students who secure ranks up to 3000 are admitted through Government Quota.
