While many may shed their philosophies on how getting a high package should not be your ultimate goal and stuff, I am here with a different opinion. When you are investing a huge amount of money it is only right to expect a greater monetary benefit and a better lifestyle. So I have mentioned some techniques that will help you land a package of 30 LPA specifically in the field of marketing post-MBA from IIM ABC, FMS, MDI, SPJIMR, and IIFT.
These points will help you get your dream job but cannot necessarily guarantee it. It all ultimately depends on your efforts and obviously your luck.
According to a senior of mine, SIBM is a great college and a good option for MBA but still, it is not considered in the same league as XLRI or FMS due to various reasons.
If you have some issues financially and would like to invest less in your degree then FMS would be the suitable option whereas if you can and want to spend more on your degree then XLRI is the best without any questions.
For an MBA in Marketing, NMIMS Mumbai is the better choice among these. If the steep course fee isn’t an issue for you, go for NMIMS.
Despite having a huge batch size of around 300 students, it receives coveted roles for placements. Some of the job roles offered during last year's placement were Clint Account Manager, Pre-Sales and Business Development Manager, Deal Analyst, etc.
According to NMIMS Mumbai placements 2021, the average CTC received by the top 50 students of Marketing specialization was around INR 25.16 LPA.
Among IMI (Delhi), SIIB (Pune), or MICA (Ahmedabad) for an MBA in Marketing, MICA should be your top choice. It's known for providing unparalleled education in Branding, Communication, and Marketing. Although the fee for all the colleges mentioned is on the higher side, the question of ROI does not arise when it comes to MICA's reputation and quality of education.
IMI New Delhi is a decent college, but it's not particularly known for anything specific. On the other hand, SIIB is part of a cluster of colleges and is sought after mainly for the Symbiosis brand. However, MICA has a unique identity and reputation for producing some of the finest marketing and communication specialists in the industry.
Choosing MICA as your B-school will provide you with exposure to a rich and diverse culture, along with an unparalleled learning experience in Marketing and Communication. The college has an exceptional faculty, top-notch infrastructure, and a wide range of industry tie-ups that provide students with ample opportunities to gain practical experience.
MICA's alumni network is also a significant advantage, with graduates holding leadership positions in top organizations globally. Overall, if you're looking to specialize in Marketing and Communication, MICA should be your top choice, given its unparalleled reputation and focus on the field.
For an MBA in marketing, PIBM is definitely a better option than BIMM. The points below state some of the key highlights of PIBM, along with some advantages and disadvantages of both the institutes, which will support the choice.
Talking about BIMM, there are some disadvantages that make it the less preferred option among the two. The main problem faced is the batch size, which is huge. There is a lot of competition in the placement of BIMM just because of this reason. The faculties in BIMM do not pay as much personal attention as required for individual students. This is also an effect of the huge batch size.
Therefore, considering all the points stated above, it is clear that PIBM is definitely a better choice, having a much better training facility and placement than BIMM.
PIBM and IILM are both good institutes when it comes to MBA or management studies. IILM is comparatively old and also has a legacy of more than 25 years which gives it an edge over PIBM Pune. Moreover IILM has 3 campuses in the Delhi and Noida region and also in cities like Jaipur, Lucknow etc. IILM is the better of the two due to the reasons below.
Based on all the above factors, I will suggest you choose IILM Noida for an MBA in Marketing.

All the colleges are good for an MBA and have something unique to offer. Based on the given information, you can decide which college meets your needs and preferences.
It is important to evaluate IIFT Delhi, IIFT Kolkata, and NMIMS Mumbai for an MBA in Marketing and compare their offerings, including curriculum, placement opportunities, and return on investment (ROI).
IIFT Delhi and Kolkata are both part of the Indian Institutes of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and offer similar programs and opportunities. As such, when comparing IIFT with other institutions such as NMIMS, IIFT is considered to be superior in many aspects.
One of the key advantages of IIFT is its better ROI. The course curriculum is designed to provide a rigorous education with a focus on international business. Additionally, IIFT has a strong track record of improving its placements each year. The current batch of students has achieved the highest placements among all top B-schools, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
In considering these factors, IIFT may be a strong option for those looking for a graduate program in management with a focus on international business and strong placement opportunities. However, it is important to conduct thorough research and evaluate all options before making a final decision.
KJ Somaiya is well-known for its marketing specialization, but it also provides super-specialized programs like International Business (IB), Retail Management (RM), and Marketing Communication. Because placements are common for all programs, all MBA students can participate in the placement process of any company visiting campus and offering a marketing role.
The main advantage is that a student can study core marketing while also working in a media company, which is primarily aimed at Marketing-communication students. Furthermore, because of the specialized courses, companies come from a wide range of diverse and niche industries. In terms of exposure and opportunities, SIMSR also benefits greatly from its location in Mumbai.
