Remarks :
The application form and other relevant information for admission would be available on the university website. The eligibility of the course would be based on the rank obtained in the national level examination. There are reservation benefits available such as scholarships.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I have a better understanding of the topics and it interested me. The faculty: student ratio for MSc is 5:1. Qualification of the faculty is either professor or associate professor. The teaching methods they use are either classroom-oriented or field oriented. There is better exposure through practical learning. The term exams would be once in 6 months. In between, there will be mid-term exams and practicals. It is obvious that the questions would be depending on the classroom teaching and fieldwork.
Internships Opportunities :
There are some internship opportunities for students but I didn't opt for any of them. In the last semester of BSc, we were selected for an internship as a part of the experience learning program and we had the opportunity to explore a small-scale poultry industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The semester fee would be 18-20 k per semester and they would provide a scholarship for BSc which would be nearly 32000 per year and a stipend for MSc which accounts for 7000 per month. I didn't opt for a job on campus because of my personal problems.
Campus Life :
The annual fest would be in the month of June. For every occasion, there would be a fest. There is a physical library and a digital library available. Access to different websites is available free of cost. International and national journals of recent experiments are available. Every year inter-college sports will be conducted and the winners are rewarded. The infrastructure and facilities in the classroom are great.
Hostel Facilities :
There will be 4 members per room with individual cupboards. The quality and quantity of meals and menu will be maintained by the students. Registration fee and process for hostel is simple and affordable.
