Remarks :
I gave Cat exam and scored 82 percentile, went through a rigorous process of GD -PI process and secured admission to this beautiful lush green campus in the city of Pune. The college provides a specialised course in insurance and other management subjects. The college also invites companies to participate in summer internship programs and the industrial exposure here is amazing along with experienced faculties that provide the best of knowledge and expertise. The hostel and mess facilities are quite decent too and the campus life here is amazing.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is very particular about term exams and the difficulty level is moderate covering all the required syllabus to make us industry leaders. NIA follows a rigours trimester program that involves all the necessary management and insurance subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
I've been placed in a standalone health insurance company - Religare (care health) for a summer internship after clearing a few rounds. There are many companies which come to participate in the summer internship program.
Placement Experience :
Summer internship program followed by placement facilities. There is a dedicated placement committee which works for bringing the companies. The average placement is around 10.5-11. And there is 100% placement since inception
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course fees are low compared to other management colleges. The college fees are 9,53,000 and the hostel fees are around 1,56,000 The college has tie-up with various banks such as the bank of Maharashtra, IDBI etc to process loan
Campus Life :
The college has different committees - cultural, insurance summit, HR summit, pravartak (a college-run magazine), social outreach committee etc and different book clubs to make the student become familiar with teamwork
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel here is quite decent. There are regular cleaning facilities and it is a twin-sharing room. Privacy is maintained completely. The hostel mess serves decent food and has a special dinner once a week
Interview Experience :
The college has Group discussions, and written ability tests followed by personal interviews. GD topics test your general knowledge and awareness, WAT tests your writing ability and Personal interview tests your behaviour and communication skills. The college also gives weightage to past academic records.
