Remarks :

Admission was based on ts eamcet, 70%of seats belong to the convener quota and the remaining seats belong to the management and NRI quota. In the convener quota students who get below the 10000 rank gets full fee reimbursement and above 10k may or may not get based in their respective caste.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose electronics and communication engineering. The placements are better for this course. There are 3 sections when I joined this college for my course but now they reduced to 2 sections each section containing 72(including laterals).

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies visit the college every year, students can get internships based on their interests at the start of 2nd year. There are student clubs like AAC IEEE which make students do minor and major projects.

Placement Experience :

The placements for Gokaraju are quite more compared to other colleges, almost every student gets placed by the end of 4th year ..students are eligible for campus placements from 3-2 only. Many companies visit the college every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for 2 semesters i.e., 1 year is 1,30,000. Students of the convener quota get reimbursement, and students below 10k in ts eamcet will get full fee reimbursement. For sc/st students full fees reimbursement irrespective of their rank.

Campus Life :

Life in GRIET is average, there are many student clubs in GRIET but there is a very less number of fests or technical events conducted every year. The biggest fest is pragnya and pulse. Books are available in the library.

Placement Experience:

In my college, more than 60% of the students are placed in good companies like Google, Amazon, Infosys, Microsoft and etc. The placement started on the 3rd. year 2nd semester the average package is 4 to 5 lakhs.
