Review about GRIET

Remarks :

Seat allotment is done through ts eamcet exam. 70% of seats are provided to the students who have written eamcet. And the other 30% of seats are management seats and NRI seats. In eamcet, if an obc student gets a rank below 7000 he/she can get a seat in CSE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I am interested in coding and this course CSE has very good placements. The faculty-student ratio is 20:1, every 20 students have 1 mentor. They guide the students to get good marks, placements, etc They help the students to get good opportunities. Almost every faculty pursued a Ph.D. The exams are not so hard, and easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

Every company provides internships to students with a stipend. In our college, the internships which are provided are paid, which means the company will pay the beginners. Faculty gives us projects. Even from the second yr faculty gives projects like mini projects.

Placement Experience :

From 3yr 2nd sem students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Deloitte, info sis, TCS, etc visit our college to provide offers. The highest package is 44lpa and the lowest is around 3-4lpa. Around 90% of the students will be placed. I plan to do my higher studies in foreign

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is 122000 per year for Every course. College satisfies us with this college fee. But students with a rank 10k below in eamcet get full fee reimbursement. TS-Epass will provide scholarships to the students. Students have to apply for a TS-Epass scholarship.

Campus Life :

In this college, fests are very rear, but there are many student clubs like rhythms, IEEE, spices, etc to conduct the fests. IEEE conducts a fest called prajna which is a technical and nontechnical event. Rythyms conduct cultural fests like SPECTRA, and PULSE. PULSE is the biggest event in this college which is held for 7 days.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is not available for boys. it is available for girls but it is not on the campus outside the campus bus facility is there for them. But most of the students will. join private hostels near JNTU. Many hostels are available in JNTU

Placements are a little bit slower than others here in the college. The companies offer medium to lower packages of salaries. Placements are a little difficult to get. There are several opportunities to get off campus also.
