Remarks :
The Course is NBA accredited, and the eligibility of the course was either a good score on the 12th boards or via an entrance test. I got to apply through representatives found at an educational fair. I did not avail myself of any reservation benefits. No, it was fine.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course so I could make a career out of my passion towards working with cells and cell cultures. There is a good faculty: student ratio. The students are assigned mentors (faculty). Most of the faculty have a PhD qualification with good teaching skills. The concepts are taught well. It was pretty difficult. But it was fine.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunities are well established via IAESTE and independent student internships. This org aids students in receiving exposure abroad. It was indeed an eye-opener stating that I got my dissertations done in a uni abroad.
Placement Experience :
We became eligible for placements in the 6th semester of our study. Many different IT companies and a few core companies visited. I pursued my Masters's degree after graduation. Many students got placed and many opted for a higher degree of study.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Well, for a bachelor's degree, it was pretty acceptable. There were different scholarships that we could apply for and I got to obtain many scholarships through merit via university. There were many placement opportunities with good salary packages.
Campus Life :
Campus life was fun but strict to an extent. More activities and events for the students and teachers to take part in. A huge library with lots of books from different departments was also available for use. There were many journal subscriptions too. The classroom was spacious with projection facilities. A lot of extracurricular activities did take place. It was fun. There were Clubs where students can join in and learn more about their interests and topics like Photography, nature, theatre etc.
