Remarks :

You have to score 60 per cent or more to get admitted to this college. You can find the application form online on the main website of NIMS as well as offline. The application fee is 800 rupees. No, I dont want to see any improvement in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I wanted to learn about the internet in depth. There is a total of 10 teachers for 150 students. The teachers are well highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching technique is also very good. Exams are taken the time and there isn't any difficulty in passing if you have studied well.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester, you become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tcs, oppo, vivo etc visit here and plenty of offers are made. The highest package is 8 lakh and the average package is 3.5 lakh. 30% of students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Last year the fee was 60000 per annum and this year, it's also the same, so I don't see any fee hike. There is no such scholarship program to be commended. You can get jobs on the basis of your intelligence on campus.

Campus Life :

The annual fest every year takes place in the month of September and the date of the tech fest is not fixed. There are plenty of books and journals in the library. Sports like cricket, badminton, tennis, and basketball are played are here and extra curricular activities like gyming and swimming are also available.

Hostel Facilities :

There are many types of rooms available. I got 4 seaters for 80000 rupees per year in which I got a clean room with an attached bathroom and balcony. We get fresh food and fresh vegetables to eat and there is a variety of dishes.

Placement Experience:

Well, to be honest, I have to say that my college doesn't offer many placement opportunities. The package they offer is around 4 lakhs which is not much, and only a limited number of companies come to the campus for recruitment. Most of the batch graduates are without any placement offers. Students who wish to pursue a job have to find opportunities or internships on their own. Sometimes faculties also help students to get a job. As per my observation, most of the students opt for higher education after graduation. However, I do believe that the absence of campus placements doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of education or employability of the students. It's just that students have to rely on their efforts to secure job opportunities.

So companies start coming in the 3rd year ( for a 4-year course ), and 2nd year ( for the 3-year course), though you may not get a good placement. The average placement is 4-5 lakh per annum. The placement ratio is nearly 40-50 %. I am looking for masters.
