Remarks :

anyone who appeared jee mains can participate in the admission process. the admission process is conducted by JOSAA. The application form is found on josaa official website. OBC students get a quota of obc rank, not general rank. no improvement is needed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose to mine as it is an emerging branch in this emerging world. It is a fascinating field that everyone should choose to opt for. 22:1 is a faculty-student ratio. Very highly qualified professors are allowed to every branch. teaching is done through both blackboard and smart classes. 4 months for one term and the exam level is good.

Class Size : 57Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

the internship comes to our college just after the second year. people can apply for non-core and core internships which could help them in getting ppos or certificates in future campus placements. projects are assigned in regular intervals for the experience gain of students.

Placement Experience :

placements are good in ou college. from 7 sem students are eligible for placements. google, Microsoft, AWS, oyo, and almost every company come to our campus. highest package domestic is 83.6 lakhs and the average is 11 lakhs. join the company after college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

fees are not hiking I would say and are remaining although same across the years and around 8 lakhs for students for a family income above 5 lacks and 4 lakhs for a family income between 1 to 5 lakhs and 2 lakhs for a family income below 1 lakh. kalia scholarships, college scholarships. loans are also provided.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is nitrutsav and is conducted in the month of march. Innovision is a tech feast and is conducted the in the month of December. The central library is there. central ac and hi-tech classrooms. you can play all sports except golf. almost all clubs are there acc. to students interest.

Life of a student at NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, google, Qualcomm, Intel, wells Fargo, American express, texas instruments, Oracle, Samsung, Barclays, bajaj auto, tata steel, and many others visit the campus. So far the highest package offered is around 51 lakh rupees per year and the average package is around 12 lakhs per year. More than 90% of computer science students are being placed in the past few years. I personally want to have an industry experience for 1 or 2 years after my degree and then I want to pursue my MBA.

Placement Experience:

As NIT ROURKELA is one of the best technical institutes in India and 3rd best in NITs many top companies visit here for placements and internships. In 3rd year we have internship opportunities from many companies with good stipends. These are summer internships which will be for 2 months. The selection process is similar to the placements. If we perform well enough in the internship PPO will be offered. In the 4rth year placement season starts. In the last placement season over 900+ offers were given. The average CTC for CSE is 16 LPA, and for others, it is 12 LPA. In CSE Placement percentage is 100%. After my degree, I don't have any plans for higher studies. So I will go with my placement.

Everything About Nit Rourkela In A Brief

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the start of the 7th semester. Anyone having zero backlogs is eligible to sit for placements. Around 200-250 companies from different sectors like IT, analytics, finance, and electronics visit every year. Around 900 students were placed last year from 1100 students with a record of 100% placement in the Mining And Metallurgy Department. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs from Microsoft and the average package was 11 lakhs. If in case you didn't get placements you can still try for off-campus placements in various companies. I am already selected for an internship at Qualcomm and will target PPO next year.

And the faculties are highly educated & the sem exams are computer so I improved my skill a lot in computers, and some of my teachers are too informational like you, sir/ma'am. so thank you for your good teaching which is very useful not only in the classroom but also outside helpful.
