Remarks :

The eligibility for the course is simple ..we have to give jee main exam and based on percentile and rank as well as the basis of caste reservation we get a seat in a higher ranked branch and we get a seat here through jossa site ...the application form is easily available.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I want to get opted for the electrical branch but didnt got a seat their ..other than that my second priority was the chemical branch as I love practical reactions and am fond of all type of chemicals ..the faculties here are world-class as many of them are very very reputed personnel and some of them have all wrote nation famous books for gate exam and some of them are iit iim passout also ..the exams are conducted on semester basis ...

Class Size : 134Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The companies coming for an internship to our college varies from year to year ..but one thing for sure the stipend given to us is enough and very good ...the reason why the amount of stipend is good is as we have to go through an exam and interview to get an internship here.

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year onwards students become eligible for campus placements. good companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, and amazon came here for campus placements for core branches Gail, ExxonMobil, ONGC etc come here for direct requirements. total approx 1000+ offers made to 900 students in total. The highest package is 83lpa on campus Atlassian and avg package is around 11 lpa. About 85% of students are placed. My plans are simple I am also opting for placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure varies from the income and caste of the specific person. if the student have a family income of more than 5lpa per year then he/she has to pay more fee in comparison with a student having family income less than 5lpa and having reservation benefits ..the scholarship provided by college are state scholarship national scholarship ...

Campus Life :

Our college conducts many fests in a single year the tech fest was named as innovision this year and the annual fest of this year is nitrutsav ..the month is not specific but mostly it is conducted in march April month our classes have all facilities like CCTV smart class ac wifi digital fingerprinting for attendance also all type of extracurricular activities are conducted here and we have very big outdoor stadiums and sufficient amount of indoor stadiums for all type of sports activities also we have all type of groups starting from ssg to a club dedicated to caring animals in the campus also.

Life of a student at NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, google, Qualcomm, Intel, wells Fargo, American express, texas instruments, Oracle, Samsung, Barclays, bajaj auto, tata steel, and many others visit the campus. So far the highest package offered is around 51 lakh rupees per year and the average package is around 12 lakhs per year. More than 90% of computer science students are being placed in the past few years. I personally want to have an industry experience for 1 or 2 years after my degree and then I want to pursue my MBA.

Placement Experience:

As NIT ROURKELA is one of the best technical institutes in India and 3rd best in NITs many top companies visit here for placements and internships. In 3rd year we have internship opportunities from many companies with good stipends. These are summer internships which will be for 2 months. The selection process is similar to the placements. If we perform well enough in the internship PPO will be offered. In the 4rth year placement season starts. In the last placement season over 900+ offers were given. The average CTC for CSE is 16 LPA, and for others, it is 12 LPA. In CSE Placement percentage is 100%. After my degree, I don't have any plans for higher studies. So I will go with my placement.

Everything About Nit Rourkela In A Brief

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the start of the 7th semester. Anyone having zero backlogs is eligible to sit for placements. Around 200-250 companies from different sectors like IT, analytics, finance, and electronics visit every year. Around 900 students were placed last year from 1100 students with a record of 100% placement in the Mining And Metallurgy Department. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs from Microsoft and the average package was 11 lakhs. If in case you didn't get placements you can still try for off-campus placements in various companies. I am already selected for an internship at Qualcomm and will target PPO next year.

And the faculties are highly educated & the sem exams are computer so I improved my skill a lot in computers, and some of my teachers are too informational like you, sir/ma'am. so thank you for your good teaching which is very useful not only in the classroom but also outside helpful. And because of the much learn from campus, I want to be a faculty myself after completing my education as it is not just part-time work it's full-time work and also a lifelong goal to fulfil both teachings and learning about information technology topics.
