Remarks :

The entrance was through jee mains percentiles. And there was not much in the eligibility criteria other than jee mains percentile and also 75% in 12th boards. The admission and counseling were done by jossa/csab counseling and physical reporting was done at the institute itself. The reservation is available on the basis of caste and gender and also ews and home state. The admission process is quite smooth and complete and very easy for a student who has qualified jee.

Course Curriculum Overview :

First of all, in the range of my rank, this was the best-suited course and college and city as I am also from Bhopal. And secondly, the coding culture is quite good and seniors are very helpful so I will learn programming by taking help from seniors placements are very decent. The faculties are very good. But with some exceptions of course. Some are very good at teaching some are not but overall no one is overburdening students. Almost all the faculties are Ph.D. from iits or nits no one is below that. The term exam is in the month of march due to COVID but generally lies in the month of December and July. Passing exams is very easy. Anyone with just 1 week of preparation can easily get 8 pointers or above.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships were offered for core and tech companies. In tech Microsoft google Atlassian was the major recruiter and the stipend was 85k,95k, and 75k respectively. In core, not many companies visited but hpcl , bpcl and bhel were some psu that gave internships to top students with a 50-60k stipend.

Placement Experience :

7th sem students can sit for placement and the number of offers made is 981 as of now Feb 23' with the highest of 82lpa by Atlassian 8 offers, and Microsoft made 45 offers with 41 LPA packages google made 6 with 48 lpa and many more companies came. Paypal with 34 LPA was open for all branches and sigmoid 19 LPA was also open for all branches.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship is available for those whose family income is less than 500000 pa. And also for SC/ST and OBC. The fees for the general category are equal to other NITs of India 69k per semester and around 15k for the hostel and 12k for the mess. The placement opportunities are very good. In the 7th semester, only 789 students were placed out of 1059 and now the number is 981 as of Feb almost all are getting placed with the highest package of 82lpa Atlassian and an average package of 11.3lpa. Even core branch students are getting placed in tech companies and all tech giants like google amazon Microsoft Atlassian and startups like zeta , zomato,paytm, Flipkart,udaan, cred are visiting.

Campus Life :

The annual cultural and technical fest of manit bhopal is Maffick . It is held in the month of march. And it has got so much in it like a treasure hunt, creators summit, Dj nights and so much more. Esummit is also organized in which this year Ashneer Grover, Mba chai wala(Praful billore), Anubhav Dubey, and money others came. The classrooms are great. Every department building is having auditorium with AC and projectors. Sports facilities are also provided like newly renovated badminton courts (4), Lawn Tennis (2), table tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, and many indoor games. The student Activity center is also there with various clubs like robotics club, E-cell, zenith-programming club, vision club, and many more.

A good college for btech

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of last semester, students become eligible for placements. Any company visited like Bridgestone, TCS, Infosys, etc. Packages 32 lakh and average packages 4 lakh per annum. Almost 65% of students are getting placement.

From 4 years, There were almost 200 companies visited and there were so many offers made. The highest package was 1cr this year and the average is 5.5lakh. almost 70% get placed. To get a good job in its company.

Placement Experience:

Our college placements record is quite excellent, but core companies are lesser placement records. From the 5th-6th semester, companies came for the placements and some companies provide internships and training for the selected students for that company. Above 6.0 CGPA of students are getting placements. For Now, My plan is to be placed in a very reputed company with a very good package for earning and then moving ahead.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm good at computer science that's why I opt this field and every subject is reached by different faculty, the faculty are well educated and except for some faculty they all are good at teaching, after every month we have to give mid sem there and some internal exams, final exams are quite difficult as most of the time the paper comes really unexpected.

Placement Experience:

After the end of 6th-semester students become eligible for a seat in campus placement and get a good salary package that they are offered to us. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to become a successful software engineer. Faculty students ratio is not very sufficient we need some more experienced faculties. Some teachers are well qualified and experienced and are helpful to us but more than half teachers are freshers and have no experience of teaching and we struggle with them.
