Remarks :

Admission to this College is through Neet Examination only. Neet is the only way to get a chance in this College through all India quota or West Bengal State quota. One of the best government medical colleges in west bengal as well as India.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Obviously, MBBS is a very prestigious course as Doctor is a prestigious occupation. Of course, students are of good quality those who get a chance in the government medical College. Faculties are one of the best professors in west Bengal. A very frequent number of examinations are taken which is helpful for students.

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 6400 per year

Placement Experience :

After the final year examination students are eligible for internship.after the internship students have to write for neet pg examination for an M.D. degree. Placements are also good. Getting a government medical hospital after an MD degree or an MBBS degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As a government medical College, fees are very affordable (as low as 6400 per year) as compared to other courses or other private colleges. But there are not any scholarships or stipends for any specific courses before the internship.

Campus Life :

Annual fest ALAPAN is one of the attractions of college life. Being one of the oldest colleges in India it has an antique library with lots of books and journals. One of the negative points of the college is that there are no grounds for play for the students.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are airy and have lots of space. Though meal's quality is not that good. but I think with respect to the price, quality isn't that a great issue. Hostels are affordable enough. But the registration process and the availability are low (officially)

The best life is the college life with a bit of struggles for a medico in COMJNMH

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only reason for choosing this course is because this will help me to serve the people who need medical aid. The faculty members here are such a blessing. They not only teach the subjects but also help us to build the proper mindset ethically needed to treat patients with care and empathy. Each one of the faculty members is highly qualified and inspires the students a lot. Our college is very particular about examinations. There will be monthly exams which ultimately help us give the final MB exams with ease. It is quite difficult to pass as our passing percentage is 50% and above. But this course is so interesting and this helps one to pass the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course so you need to learn about the human body and you need to learn how to treat a person. The faculties in all the colleges of West Bengal are good to average, the professors get rotated in different colleges within 2 years so faculty is not a big problem. The faculties generally have done that Super Specialty or specialty in their respective field. Yes, internal assessment exams are of moderate to difficult level and the University exam is similar for all the students of medical colleges of West Bengal.

I am satisfied to this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is extremely lengthy. It has vigorous pressure. The course curriculum is 5.5 years including a 1-year internship. Though all faculty member is genius. They are all specialists in their field. They are also friendly, good guides, and motivators with few exceptions. Those few exceptional teachers are always ready to burn behind the bamboo for the student. I basically choose this field because it is a chance to serve the man me. And it is the better pathway to earn the money. The faculty and students ratio is enough. There is a limited seats in every medical college. But currently, there is an increasing trend of medical colleges in our state that will do bad conditions for the future. The qualification of the faculty is very excellent. They are high degree holders in their field. The teaching method depends on the teacher. Though most of the teachers use PPT (PowerPoint presentation), some of us do board work, in demonstration classes, and the practical class uses the original instrument or human body.

NBMC is a pretty good place for MBBS course

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course where one is taught to apply their knowledge in their clinical practice. In NBMC faculties are always available and pretty attentive to the academic needs and guidance of the students, there is also a mentorship program going on where a group of 10 students remains under the supervision of 1 faculty member. Faculties use advanced technologies and extraordinary clinical exposure to make each subject easier. There is also a part clearance exam for each subject nearly at month end to assess the progress of students. Apart from these, there are semester exams conducted by the college authority and annual professional exams conducted by the university. And the exam difficulty is standardized.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a dream course for many owing to the legacy it carries. I have always been attracted to helping society and contributing to them. Here at NBMC, we have a decent faculty-student ratio of 1:20 per subject. Professors are very approachable and humble. They are always open to questions and enthusiastic about solving their doubts. MBBS curriculum has a vast syllabus. It's undoubtedly difficult to cope with the stress. However, rigorous exams taken regularly by all the departments make us ready to face all challenges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course great. Faculty: student ratio I think it is between 1:20 -1:25. The quality of the study is great. The professors are the best. The teachers are the best and well-qualified. Exams are 3 semesters and one final MB exam which matters most. And you should have a minimum of 75% attendance otherwise you wouldn't be able to write the exams. There are several Quizzes, and CA exams often held. To catch the talent within the students. Exams are not that tough but also not so easy. To pass you have to get a minimum of 50%. In individual papers and practical exams also.
