Remarks :

Eligibility for the course is that you have to give JEE MAINS EXAMINATION and score at least 90+ percentile in this exam. The application form is available on www.nta.nic.in, the application fee is one thousand. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and gen ews students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in this course also the placement is awesome. The faculties are pretty good but not appreciable, the student ratio is 1:4 girls: boys. The faculties are well qualified from iits and nits, their teaching methods are decent. The term examinations are taken every four months and it's not so difficult to pass them.

Internships Opportunities :

The companies which give internships in this college are hcl, Wipro, and many more companies, the roles given depend on the type of job chosen by the students. The internships provide a good handy salary to the students.

Placement Experience :

After the seventh-semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited in the college are Vedanta, Wipro, tata steel, Atlassian, Microsoft, hcl, etc. In my branch which is computer science, there was 100 per cent placement last year and the highest package was 44lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The best part of college is the fees. The fees are very low and it's just approx 14000 per semester for general students. The scholarships for financial assistance are ekalyan scholarship, fee scholarship etc

Campus Life :

Fests are an integral part of bit Sindri, the tech fest is 'tech udbhav' and it is conducted in the month of march whereas the annual fest is conducted in the month of November. The library is quite good although all types of books are not available in the library. Sports and extracurricular activities are not the best parts of college.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms in the hostels are of average level. The mess meal is very nice the menu is very good. The registration process for a hostel is done during the process of admissions only. The hostels are affordable as the prices are not very high.

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is very good with 90+ percent. From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. Mostly companies offer SDE, Analyst, consultancy profiles for students and highest package is from 45 to 50 lpa and average is 12 lpa. I don't have any plans just to get placed in a company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in studying b.tech in computer science and engineering and learning about computer machines and their software so I opted for studying at chaibasa engineering college. In chaibasa engineering college the faculty-to-student ratio is very nice as here it's 1 teacher with over 40 students and the teacher can clarify every student's doubts and can also interact with everyone. Here the teacher is also highly qualified with having P.hd in a particular field and many have done masters from IITs. The teaching style of the teachers is fabulous and explains very complex topics very easily and tries to reach every student's doubts. during our first semester curriculum, the college took two main internal assessment exams which were what we were taught in the class and the difficulty level was moderate.

3rd oldest college with very good campus life and Internship and Placement opportunities.

Placement Experience:

The Placements at IITISM are very good. The placement starts in December in the 7th semester. This year on day 0 and day 1 and including the pre-placement offers total of 540 students are placed and the count is still increasing in phase 2 of the placement (currently running). in pre-placement offers, the median salary offered was 30 lakhs. and for overall placements, it is 17 lakhs. The major companies hiring are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, etc. According to the treads of previous years, At the end around 900 students are placed and for the CSE branch, the placement percentage is 100%. I have currently got A summer Internship offer at Walmart. and I want to get PPO at Walmart and want to become a Software developer at a tech giant.

The placements at IIT Dhanbad are outstanding. The average package is around 24.5 lakhs/Annum CTC where the highest package being around 1-1.2cr /annum CTC Domestic.
