Remarks :

I applied through JAC Counselling and they take in JEE Mains marks and min 75% in 12th is required at that time of admission. You can check JAC Website and there they update you about all processes and timelines and forms, as the process is virtually now done.

Course Curriculum Overview :

- I was studying at CSE -I would say prefer CSE/IT over any other branch if you want to have a decent placement in this college because Core companies don't visit too much. - In a class of CSE we have got 2 sections, and each class has about 60-65 students. - The faculty is quite experienced, every one of them is PHD and has done teaching in reputed colleges even IITs & IIM. - There is 1 Final SEMESTER exam every 6 months and 2 Minor exams of 25 Marks each and its best of 2 taken (Minors) and is added with 50 Marks of Major and a cumulative grade point out of 100 Marks/semester is given for that particular subject.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience :

Well, Let's be Honest in this, after all this is what everyone looks for before joining the campus ; 1. Good amount of companies visit Campus each year 2. By good I mean 30-50 (At least at my time ~ 2022-2023) and quality is not good at all. 3. There are hardly 10 Companies that you can call really good companies with a good or decent package. 4. Others are just a bunch of startups with 2-3 people coming to Hire, or even are some local companies of Chandigarh. 5. But average placement goes around 6.5 Lakh usually and CSE /IT gets placed maximum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Well, to be honest, fees are actually quite Low here and ROI is quite high for that. - They usually Hike fees for every batch that comes in, currently it's touching 1 Lakh / per Year ~ 4lakh ( 4 years) - They have many scholarship programs and fee discounts for SC/ST and some PM programs as well for rural or backward Classes. You can check their website for more details they have mentioned it all.

Campus Life :

- Social Life is good at the campus, if you are a person that loves to take part in different events or organise it then it's fun. - We at UIET Have got some Fest but majorly GOONJ is something that is celebrated with lots of crazes and on a big scale as well. - we have got a good library, anyu books related to courses can be found there and make sure before the exam you get that as there are limited copies of each book and students tend to rent it, then you have no choice left, only online thing can be done. - Classrooms are okay, I mean what can you expect from Govt College ( I would rate 3/10) - Sports and extracurricular are done quite a much and students take part quite a much in these things.

What it is like to do engineering in CCET?

Placement Experience:

The placements are maximum for the CSE and ECE students. Around 50-60 companies visit the campus for placements. The placement process starts in the 7th Semester. I am a CSE student so I will share my experience accordingly. The companies first organize an Aptitude test followed by Technical rounds followed by personal interviews. For CSE, the placement percentage is 80-90% with an average pack of 6 LPA. It is comparatively easy for computer engineers to land a job in CCET with an average package.

7 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. A number of different companies visit which cant be listed like apple, Microsoft, etc. The highest package is 84lpa and the average package is 10lpa. 90percents students get placed and my plan is business after my studies.

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible in the 6th semester for the college placements. There are a lot of companies visiting every year. companies like AutoCAD, amazon etc & do a lot of offers. The highest package is 1.54cr and the average is 8lakh. Take placement and prepare for further studies.

The life at Chandigarh University described in one the most accurate and easy to understand method.

Placement Experience:

You become eligible from 3rd year to be able to apply for campus placements. 900+ companies came for the placement drive the last time and more than 9500 students got placed highest package being 1.17 Cr and 54.75lpa international and Domestic respectively. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. A lot of big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Palo Alto, Hewlett Packard, Accenture, Hitachi, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grail Research, TAFE, John Deere, and Schindler visited. Over 6100 offers are made. The highest package secured is 54.75 LPA with an average package of 8 LPA for Computer science. More than 95 percent of students get placed this year. If I secure a package above 10 LPA, I will get some experience with the company and then I will apply for MBA or M.Tech.
