Remarks :

For admission, one needs to clear the BITSAT exam to get into the three BITS campus in India. Students need to have a min 75% on boards. BITSAT exams had 5 sections namely, Physics Chemistry Maths English & Logical reasoning

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose MSc Mathematics because I have an interest in mathematics. The course curriculum is very well designed, and students here are allowed to make their own timetable and choose their professors. Faculty are approachable and are always ready if anyone is interested in research

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies(from startups to big companies) come for Summer internship programmes for various roles in different domains and projects( Finance, IT, core, non-core, etc). The stipend varies from thousands to lac per month.

Placement Experience :

Nearly every company visits the campus. Students in their 4th year sit for the placements(5th year for dualities). The average package of the college is around 18LPA, and there is 100% placement. Students go for Practise school (PS) to gain industrial exposure(PS-1 after end of first year and PS-2 in the final year)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are definitely an issue at BITS. Moreover, each year, fee hikes by 10%. Currently, fees are around 265k (fees+hostel+mess etc.]. There is two scholarship that is given to students, the first being the "Merit Scholarship"-to students with 9.5+CGPA, and the "Merit cum Needs Scholarship"-to students whose parental income is less than 11 lac/year.

Campus Life :

It's goa :),3 fests in a year-"Waves"-an annual fest, "Quark"-a technical fest, "Spree"-a sports fest. Eminent personalities performed in the fest like Sunidhi Chauhan, Amit Trivedi, Local train, Darshan Raval etc. You will find the clubs here from each domain you can think of.

Hostel Facilities :

Hoster is compulsory for BITSians here, and costs around 30k each semester. The rooms are decent. From 2nd year onwards, each student is provided with separate rooms. Mees menu is good, the menu changes every 1-2 months, special lunch/dinner once in month/occasion.

Placement Experience:

Placements are one of the best in the country. There is a good mix of tech and nontech companies coming on campus. The Internship program helps you get immersed in the corporate culture and come out ready for the outer world.
