Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because of my interest and Electrical and electronics engineering is one of the core and circuital branches and this branch also has a good placement average. EEE department has the Faculty is good and almost everyone is Ph.D. qualified. Exams happen every two months and quizzes are conducted in between semesters. The teaching method and curriculum are good enough to get you an understanding of the course and its concepts. In every semester, one mid-semester and an end-semester exam are conducted. Midsem consists of half the curriculum while end-sem has the entire course curriculum. Quizzes are conducted before and after the exams. Assignments are given by the faculty which carry some of the weightage. Some courses also have lab evaluations. The exams altogether are not so difficult. The difficulty level is mediocre and it can be easily passed even with decent preparation. Every batch has around 60 students. So it is good enough for everyone to get the attention of the professor.
Internships Opportunities :
The EEE department has good internship opportunities. Companies like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, AMD, and NVidia visit the college with the job profile and offer a good stipend. Stipend doesn't matter much for an internship rather knowledge and experience matter.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements start in the 7th semester and internships are in the 5th semester. Companies from all over India as well as foreign companies visit the campus. The highest package is around 58 LPA and the average package overall is 15 LPA whereas EEE has an average of 19 LPA. Around 95 percent are placed. My plan is to get placed in good company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees structure consists of two things, one is institute fees and Mess fees. The Institute fees are around 70000 per semester whereas the mess fees are around 30000 per semester. The cost to study is around 100000 per semester. The scholarship is available for girls as well as the students who have top spots in their class according to the Jee mains rank. Also, there is fee relief for students belonging to sc/st or students with a family income of fewer than 5 lakhs per annum. The campus also has the facility of education loans. Education loans can be approved by sbi bank which is there on campus. Placements are very good in this college. Average placement overall goes around 15lpa which is good enough.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is very good. The college has 300 acres of campus with all the facilities. The campus even has its private beach which is something to appreciate. The college has two events, one is the cultural fest Incident and the other is the technical fest engineer. The incident is conducted in march whereas the engineer was in September. The college has a central library with all the books and journals and an e-library complex. Classrooms have all the facilities such as a projector, green board, and whiteboard. Sports and extracurriculars are available. All the sports including badminton, tt, tennis, basketball, football, cricket, athletics, etc The college has many clubs. There are technical clubs like IEEE, IE, and IET which conduct various events, and also hobby clubs like astronomy, drama, dance, and music club.
