Overall Worth it!

Remarks :

Eligibility is generally based on the result of JEE Mains's number and rank. You need to qualify and get a rank preferably under 30k for the general category for being on the safe side. Cut-off generally various between 30 -35k for general and for OBC you can expect closing rank between 50-60k and for Sc, ST another state 80k-120k can fetch you this college. The Reservation is available for category students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are quite good and experienced in their field. Some are as regular faculties as others whereas some are quite friendly and helping in nature. Overall faculty pool is quite appreciable. Talking about attendance 75% attendance is needed. Also, exams are of moderate level not much difficult to pass. The student faculty ratio is 1:60.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies visit the campus for internship purposes like J.P. Morgan, Vedanta, Reliance, McCain, Basf, etc. which gives much-needed exposure to the students. The overall Internship opportunity is quite good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite balanced and if you are from a low-income background like a family income of less than a particular amount you can get a scholarship on basis of that either it will be 2/3 or full. Adding to this if you belong to SC, ST then you get full fee remission on tuition fees.

Campus Life :

Life in campus is quite thrilling and good. Number of clubs are there from departmental clubs to dancing, singing, cultural events to coding clubs etc. Gym is there and talking about library, it is quite good and appreciable. The facilities at the gym is very good.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are balanced as not at all bad as well as not at all bad. Double-sharing rooms are provided for first and second year students where lan is provided with WIFI. Mess food is average and eatable. Depending on the hostel you are getting, hostel food can be good as well.

Placement Experience:

Semester 7 students are eligible to apply for placements. There is one placement rule. If you are placed through college then you cannot apply for other companies through campus placement. Companies like Reliance Industries, Torrent, Adani, L&T, and TCS visit here. Also, the TCS training camp is held for 3rd-year students too. A lot of expert talk is held. For NCC cadets in Electrical engineering, there is a huge benefit. They get recruited in the Navy for 12lpa. There are students who serve in BSF too. The highest package is for Engg Officers in Army, Navy, and Air Force i.e 12lpa. For civilians, Reliance Industries offers 7.5 CTC. But still, the percentage of students getting placed is low. In my Dept this year only 10-11 students are placed 3 in reliance industries, 3 in Adani, 2 in E info chips, and 2 in TCS out of 75 total strength. I am placed in Reliance Industries so I will continue in New Energy Plant. And I am a passionate musician my voice has been on the air on radio stations in Surat. Also done playback.

Placement Experience:

Our college placements are well-designed and connected through companies from various fields. MNCs are also connected in placements. Countries like Germany are also providing jobs to the best students and skilled workers. The percentage of students getting placements is somewhat low but it can be assumed to be 45%. My plan is to not opt for placements since I will be continuing my master's from abroad.
