The facilities and staff are good. The syllabus is extremely relevant and there are plenty of opportunities to cultivate other interests on the side through clubs and societies.

I wanted to pursue a law degree in the UK and UoE has a high ranking in almost all lists.

Location is great as I now am in an English speaking environment studying English and Linguistics, Rating is also important as it marks high for both the quality of the university and my course which in itself ranks top in the world.

University of Edinburgh- MSc Counselling Studies

Its the place where all the variables that factored into my decision making process, met in harmony. It's a very well established university. Mental health is a priority in the country, state, city and the university. There was a rather unique collection of counselling/psychology/mental health related programs. The staff in the MSc Counselling Studies program is extremely helpful. The area is a good mix of city life with a lot of natural surroundings.
