• The applicant must be an Indian National or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

JIPMER MBBS Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates for admission to MBBS at JIPMER is solely based on the score obtained by the candidates in NEET UG. JIPMER MBBS Application Criteria

Admission to MBBS at JIPMER is based on the score in NEET UG. The counseling for admission to MBBS at JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Service based on the All-India Score/ Rank in NEET UG. Candidates with a valid score in NEET UG have to apply for NEET UG Counselling in order to secure admission to MBBS at JIPMER. The allocation of seats for admission to MBBS at JIPMER is only done through MCC NEET UG Counselling.
