JIPMER M.Sc Eligibility

For admission to M.Sc. Nursing, applicants must:

  • Have passed B.Sc. Nursing of this Institute or other equivalent University.
  • Have registered with the State Registration Council of Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Have B.Sc. Nursing graduation and one year of experience in a hospital or college after registration with the State Nursing Council.
  • Have a minimum of one year of work experience prior or after post-basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Have passed any other course recommended by Indian Nursing Council, in case of male candidates. Male applicants who studied Midwifery only are eligible for admission to Branch II and V.
  • Be medically fit.

For admission to M.Sc. Allied Medical Sciences, applicants must be qualified in a 3-year B.Sc. Degree program from a recognized University and with specializations in:

  • For M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry Biochemistry/Chemistry as their major with Biology/Botany/Zoology as their minor subject OR must have a B.Sc. Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

  • For M.Sc. MLT Microbiology, Microbiology/Biotechnology as their major with Biology/Botany/Zoology as their minor subject OR B.Sc. Zoology OR Candidates with B.Sc. Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

  • For M.Sc. MLT Pathology, Medical Lab Technology/Biotechnology as their major with Biology/Botany/Zoology as their minor subject OR B.Sc. Zoology

  • For M.Sc. Medical, Physiology Physiology/Biotechnology as their major with Biology/Botany/Zoology as their minor subject OR B.Sc. Zoology OR Candidates with B.Sc. Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

JIPMER M.Sc Admission Guidelines

Admission to JIPMER College, Pondicherry is done through online mode only. During the admission process, the applicants must keep checking the website to make sure they don’t miss the admission dates.

How to Apply?

  • Applicants must first visit the college website and click on “Apply on-line” link.
  • Applicant must then register themselves into the portal and create an account
  • They must then add their personal and academic details.
  • Applicants should also upload scanned copies of their supporting documents when required.
