IIT Guwahati offers a full-time residential MBA program through the School of Business for a duration of 2-years. For admissions to the IIT Guwahati MBA program, candidates must appear for the CAT exam. The selection of the candidates will be based on CAT scores followed by PI round conducted by the institute.

In order to be eligible for admission to the MBA program at IIT Guwahati, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree with at least 60% marks or a minimum CPI or CGPA of 6.0 out of 10.

The rooms are NOT air-conditioned. The toilets and bathrooms are shared (3 of each for every 10 rooms on average). Every hostel has its own history and unique facilities, but all of them have the basics i.e. a mess, a canteen, a juice center, a stationary shop, a library, a TV room, a sports room (for indoor sports), and laundry facilities.

This course has a cutoff of from 4000 to 6000 AIR in JEE Advanced Exam. You need to qualify for JEE Advanced with a 5000 rank to get this course. The courses can be selected in JoSAA counseling after the declaration of results. Application fees were about 35000 which was later adjusted with the fees.
