Campus Life:
Since it is one of the best institutions of engineering you get top-class sports facilities .there are hundreds of clubs to choose from. There are lots of fest in this college but the most popular is Alcheringa which is held last week on January.
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel facility is good. Since 2021 single room were given to students but due to increase in intake two students shares a room. The taste of food is not that good but i will say hygiene is very good. By default you are already registered for hostel.
Campus Life:
There are many clubs from techs to cultural to sports to startups. You get lage diversified opportunities. You haven't got into one till now but want to right, no prior knowledge related for. But ya iit is best
Hostel Facilities:
Hostels were made only for single occupancy but yah you need to adjust. Iitg hostels were made for single occupany but due to earthquake the disang hostel in unfunctional so we were double occupancy rooms
Campus Life:
Different types of the fest are there such as alcheringa (cultural fest), Spirit (sports fest) These fests are student running fests, many teams are there such as events, marketing etc. And clubs are there such as coding.
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facilities are really nice, mess food is good. all hostels have separate messes, there are more than 20 hostels, the allotment process is random, and all mess serves veg as well as non-veg food. it includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Campus Life:
Life and campus are amazing and there is very greenery full of lakes and natural creatures Alcheringa is the annual cultural fest of IIT Guwahati which is the biggest fest in North East India mostly conducted in February. Many groups are their Like Saathi club etc
Hostel Facilities:
Proper almirah with windows and doors and common bathroom and toilet Food is good here but not as at home and the menu is amazing it is all most different throughout the week Hostels are affordable and the mess is too
Campus Life:
You cannot count them, there are so many clubs over here. You will not get a day when you aren't receiving mail about a random event organized by a random club E-cell is a club that regularly organizes different events. College life is so much happening. Sports facilities are top-notch. Every hostel has a library and we have a central library open 24*7 with books of almost every verse.
Hostel Facilities:
Almira, table, chair, bed and a fan are all you get in a hostel room. The campus is essential so you have to reside in the campus hostel even if your house is 100m away from campus. Free Room cleaning services are provided every week and you can also avail of it any time by paying. Mess food is edible but you will get bored after some time.
Campus Life:
The annual Fest is Alcheringa which is one of the biggest fests in North East India. it happens in around February. Technical Fest is called Techniche which happens in October. They are a must to be looked out for. Books and journals are available in the library and can be issued with the help of an ID card. The library has books on every possible domain known to humans. The library is spacious and air-conditioned and open 24/7. The classes are modern with projectors smart classes and workstations in specific courses. The labs have modern equipment and are available to be used by the students. There is a sports complex for indoor sports and grounds for outdoor sports. There is ground for every major sport and there are coaches to help you learn. Internet sports meet is organized every year. Clubs are an integral part of student life here. There are a variety of technical and cultural clubs in the institute and you can create new ones if you feel like it.
Campus Life:
Campus life is great at IITG. All the people are friendly and the campus is full of lush green trees. There are so many places to visit inside the campus. And the fest of college is also awesome. There are all sorts of sports grounds present in it.
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel rooms are ok as single room is provided to each student. And the cost of hostel is also minimal. All students are required to opt for hostel after admission as commute is not possible. Some hostel messes are good and some are fine.

Alcheringa is our annual fest, which is the biggest cultural fest in northeast India, and its held in month February Techniche is our tech fest which held at a very big level in may We have the biggest library in the northeast on our campus and more than 1 crore the book is there. Classrooms are well equipped and air-conditioned with proper seating and chairs. There are all sorts of on the ground and a swimming pool and indoor courts for badminton and tennis on campus. Hostel Facilities:
We are provided large size rooms with beds, study tables, study lamps, chairs, and an almirah already equipped. A fan and tube light is there and every room has a window. The mess has a large variety of food and the food is tasty, they follow a properly balanced diet and provide us best meals. The hostel registration process was simple and assigned online
Campus Life:
There are annual fests every month, to be honest. Like in January we will have the annual sports event. In February we will have alcheringa , Manthan and lots more. So after a few days of exams, you will get time to chill during fests. Libraries are filled with books and opened 24 hours during exams and till 2 am on other days. Classrooms are too good to be true. All kinds of sports with a coach is available which includes hockey swimming cricket football and many more even though we have wooden badminton courts and glass squash court. All kinds of clubs are available such as eco club, sports, robotics, anchor, dance, music, etc.
Campus Life:
I can't even think of rating it below 10 ( not even 9.999) in this aspect. It is a huge change atleast for a guy like me who studied in a local school with no amenities. Our annual fest is alcheringa and I am going to experience this grandeur this February. Regarding books don't even think of underestimating, you will be like what's not there here? There are nearly 20 technical and 20 sports clubs here And almost there is all kind of courts on campus. Rather than reading this, you have to experience it

Eligibility of this course:- I cracked jee advanced to get admission in this college. At my time 12th board's criteria that students must have 75 percent was not there. To get admission you should enroll yourself in jossa counseling. The reservation benefits are available for SC, ST, and OBC.

The opening rank was around 862 for ST category students for my branch. In that year IITJEE was hard and it was conducted by IIT Bombay so the cut-off came down very low for every category. The application form for the exam can be found on the official site of IITJEE.
