Course Description

The application form for all the courses offered by the college is available in the offline mode. To fill the form, applicants need to follow a sequence of steps which is listed as follows:

The candidate who had qualified the Entrance Exam in the required program can apply for admission.
Admission will be purely based on a cut off score.
Candidates can apply for counseling.
They have to select NIT Patna for seat allocation.
Selected candidates have to lock the college and can visit the college for admission with the required documents.

Entrance Exam scorecard and seal allocation receipt.
Original Degree and Mark sheets (10th, 12th, and Graduation for PG courses)
Common Entrance Exam scorecard

Migration Certificate (In case the candidate is from another state).

Aspirants Seeking admission in to this course should have passed 10+2 in the relevant stream from a recognized board.

Course Details

NIT Patna offers six specializations under the B.Tech course. To be eligible for admission a candidate must pass 10+2 with 75% marks in the Science stream. For selection, they have to take the JEE Main.

NITP B.Tech Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from a recognized board.
Candidate should have a qualified Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2020.

NITP B.Tech Selection Criteria:

Candidates who have qualified JEE Main have to appear for the counseling.
The final admission is through the counseling process based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam.
Candidates will have to select the NITP during the counseling conducted through JEE Main 2020.
Selected candidates will be informed through a call and they need to report at the college for admission along with their documents.
Candidates have to report to the college admission with required documents on an allotted date with seat allotment letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason for choosing this course was my passion towards this field and also the ever-growing demand for this field. The faculty-student ratio is quite high. The faculty is quite qualified with a lot of them having lots of years in their experience bank and the teaching method, however, is quite an old school. Sem exams are quite timely also considering how far already this batch is lagging due to the delay in course commencement.

As Computer science and engineering is the most demanding btech degree nowadays so everyone wants ho pursue it as they can be highly paid. For an approximate 500 students almost 40 to 50 faculty are there in my department. Since many new courses are launched so new faculty are appointed with better Qualifications and talent than previous ones.All the faculties are Ph.D. qualified. 2 exam happens. one is mid-semester and the other is end semester. The exam is quite hard.

Nice Internship oppurtunities .

As I am from the CSE branch, It is a very demanding course in this technical world and I am interested in knowing technology and applying it after learning it. There is about 800 cse student including four years and about 30 teachers. All faculty are well educated and P.hd qualified and have a good method of teaching using modern tools like projectors and lab experiments. Exams are held at a time and it's not difficult to pass the exam like JEE.

National Institute of Technology (NITP) Patna B.tech. course review

The course curriculum and faculty members are very good here. The course curriculum is completely designed as per the NEP (New Education Policy). I opted for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering because I have a keen interest in software development and I want to learn new skills in the various technical domains. Talking about the faculty: student ratio, it's fair here, i.e. 1:60. The faculty here are well qualified and based on their qualification they are assigned to different batches and subjects. They use both board and presentation for teaching and make the students well-equipped with the study materials. After the end of each semester, a feedback form submission is required, where you can grade each faculty on various aspects of teaching. Each semester, two exams happen one mid-semester and another end-semester examination a duration of 2.5 months each (approx). The exams are not difficult to pass, it is very easy to score high marks if we focus on the things taught.

Computer Science and engineering their big scope and secure career. If you work hard then definitely you will get a Job in this field. The faculties of NIT Patna are very good they are supportive and helping nature. If you have any doubt you can any time. There are 78 students in a section and 25 faculty in Computer Science AND Engineering Department. All the faculty have done Ph.D. and the teaching style is very good. All the exams are conducted at a time and faculties are very strict in the examination hall.
