Jamia Hamdard University offers a full-time Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) for a duration of four academic years. The course involves both theoretical and practical assessment.
- The B. Pharm course involves not just developing drugs but also, quality check, regulating labs, etc. The course involves the understanding of concepts such as Introduction to Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutics. The medium of instruction and examination is English.
- The minimum criteria to apply for B.Pharm course at Jamia Hamdard is that the candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed in each of these subjects.
- For the selection process, the candidates who have appeared in NEET/JEE Main would be preferred first over the non-NEET/non-JEE applicants. The candidates applying for admission to the B.Pharm course at Jamia Hamdard University must have the following educational qualification obtained from any of the recognized boards or universities:
Regular Entry - For Admission to First Year (I Semester)
- The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed in each of these subjects.
Lateral Entry - For Direct Admission to Second Year (III Semester)
- The candidate must have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy examination of Jamia Hamdard or from any other recognized institution with 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Also, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with PCB.
Age Criteria
The candidates seeking admission to the First year of the B.Pharm course must be minimum of 17 years on or before December 31.

For admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) course at Jamia Hamdard University, every candidate needs to satisfy the academic eligibility criteria and must qualify the selection criterion laid by the university.
Admission to the program shall be made on scores in NEET/JEE Main or merit in Class XII. The mode of application to the course is Online only. The aspirants need to pay the application fees in online mode.

B.Pharm Selection Process
Regular Entry - For Admission to First Year (I Semester)

The admission to the second year of B. Pharm course will be done on the basis of merit determined by marks obtained in Diploma in Pharmacy.

Jamia Hamdard University B.Pharm Course Details
Jamia Hamdard University offers a full-time four-year B. Pharm course keeping in with the norms set by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The curriculum of the course is divided into 8 semesters and the syllabus covers all the facets of healthcare including bio-chemical areas that concern the preparation of medicines and implementing those for the right diagnosis.
The coursework involves both theory and practical training and expertise. The medium of instruction and examination will be English.
The candidates can opt for an additional course in Unani Pharmacy. A separate certificate for the course is provided for the same. However, such candidates will have to appear in all the subjects of Modern Pharmacy in addition to the additional papers in Unani Pharmacy.
