MCEM batches have a record placement of 100%, the top recruiters come from consulting firms, and contracting organizations and BIM developers are recruiting too. The student is given ample support during placement.
The internship chances are good since CEPT has a strong alumni network, the firms do recognize CEPT students for internships and PAN India internships are available for students. Contractors, PMC and other consultants offer internships at CEPT.
The placements are good and vary depending on the course. Masters in Urban Infrastructure has 100% placement for past years. Other departments are good enough too with 40-60% placement. The average package for a Master's in Urban Design is 6L per annum.
CEPT has signed MOU with many authorities like CMDA, KILA, etc which gives students more opportunities than other colleges. Internship providing opportunities to work directly under development authorities Mayor etc.
Before the placements after the completion of the second semester, students can also do their optional internship. But over the years the students have found these internships very beneficial and the committees help the students to get through the placements as much as possible. Once the students have completed their third semester the placement procedure begins. The placement is well coordinated by the placement committee where reputed firms be a part of this process. During my batch, 95% of the transport students got placed. The ones who did not get placed were by choice as they had their commitments. The highest package offered was around 8 lakh per annum.

For eligibility for the course to get an M.Arch degree, one should have a minimum bachelor's degree in Architecture with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks; while for the M.A degree, an undergraduate degree in civil, construction, planning, landscape and archaeology with 55% aggregate marks.
