The University offers several scholarships for meritorious candidates. University holds the right to reject the scholarship application, in case of the absence of any required supporting documents to be submitted by the applicant. The Scholarship will be announced along with your Admission Offer Letter; however, the amount will be disbursed after one month from the beginning of the semester/lectures.

The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means cum Merit)

This scholarship is awarded to selected students from among the eligible applications. Candidates are required to submit the online scholarship application with the admissions application form. The applicant must submit it along with the admissions application form and the eligible applicant get to know the assured scholarship amount along with the admissions offer letter. This scholarship ranges from 25% to 75% tuition fee waiver. The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means based) is to be availed by the students who fulfill the eligibility criteria.  Mentioned below is the eligibility criteria:

Eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates with a family income less than Rs. 10 lacs per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship. 
  • Recipients of the scholarship will continue to receive the scholarship for the full duration of the program, subject to maintaining a minimum 2 SGPA every semester and completing all courses in the first attempt. 

Work-Based Scholarships:


Students are encouraged to take up these assistantships to give hands-on experience and develop skills beyond classroom study. It involves them helping faculty in research, and teaching activities or taking up the given work in the different University offices including libraries, archives, laboratories, workshops, and student services. Requirements for the same are put up by the concerned depts.  and payment is calculated on an hourly basis.

Documents Required: 

  • Select an option and upload at least one document
  • Income Tax Returns of all earning family members for the last two years along with a copy of Detailed Income Computation. ( the Financial year 2020-21- Assessment Year 2021-22).      
  • OR If the Parent(s) is a salaried employee, Form 16 Copy/Salary Certificate issued by Employer for last two years i.e. Financial year 2020-21 & Financial year 2021-22.                
  • List of Immovable Properties and Investments owned by the family along with Approx. Market Value as on 31.3.2022. (Format available in the scholarship form)
  • Copy of Bank statement from January 2022 to till date.      
  • Students undertaking that they are not recipients of any other government/private scholarships or grants or benefits. (Format available in the scholarship form)
  • Income declaration by parents/guardians, stating definite income as per the Income tax return Financial Year 2022-23 from all sources by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.50 is required. (Format available in the scholarship form)
  • Copy of Bank passbook or blank crossed cheque of the bank (Account must be in the name of the student applying for Scholarship).     
  • Educational Expenses of other siblings and any Government/Other help. (Format available in the scholarship form)
  • Receipt of Fee payment of the last semester attended at the last School/College/University.
